The EMB warning at Coinsmarkets was about the wallet and the required update for all (!!!) to v1.1.5. No discussion about delisting or anything.

I have down loaded ember-qt from recognized site and tried to begin it.It was obstructed by antivirus and set to quarantine. Is it regular?
Get a better Antivirus program, simply as that. What actually works pretty well are the built in Windows tools (Security Essentials and Defender), I went back to those after using Bitdefender for a while. The latter was good, unobstrusive and light weight, until it started to block the Opera VPN. Got rid of it and back to Windows tools again and happy with them.

Yes, it's right . Dev had left this project long time ago and it was about 2 months ago . Someone pumped and dumped this coin without any good reasons so Many investors get stuck in this trap and now it's not worth buying 1 sat on the cryptopia exchange. it was really terrible , guy.

As I see it, the Devs just recently updated the code to version 1.1.5. It was clearly announced all over, but nobody gave a shit.

Exchanges adopted 1.1.5, still users did not.

The blockchain got stuck because of the users just don't know, care, or whatever.

Ignorant users got stuck in between, lost coins, or so they think, by still not updating.

Ignorant users blame others for their own stupidity.

Conclusion, and I wrote that before and again, if you have problems with your wallet, backup your private key, delete all files under Roaming\Embercoin but keep a backup of your wallet.dat, rename it wallet.bak.

Then unpack/install/start the latest client, let it run over night or 2 to pick up. Once that is done import your previously backed up private key, and your balance should show up again after rescan.

Any discrepancy to your previous wallet, you never had it.

Simple, isn't it? Smiley

You can put your EMB in coinsmarkets.com to stake there if you don't have enough money to pay for a proper Internet connection Smiley

Wallet v1.1.5.0-gv1.1.5.0

Why does it use so much CPU? No other wallet I have is permanently using so much CPU. What is this wallet doing?

Upcoming Changes In Ember
Hello everyone, to address the question of “where is ProjectChaosUK?”, we have mutually decided to part ways. The EmberCoin team thanks him for all he has done for Ember and wish him good luck on his pursuit of other personal endeavours. Talks with additional management team members are underway. These new members will bring experienced back-end and front-end developers, as well as management of other corporations at the executive level. We are meeting regularly to discuss our progress and future efforts. Our team is growing and we are excited for the future of Ember, as well as for all of you, our investors! Recently, as we announced, Cryptopia, Nova Exchange, and Coinsmarkets are all online for Ember trading. Thank you for your patience and support and let’s build something revolutionary.

Should we hope?
