hello guys .Can someone tell me how many coins I need in my wallet to earn a reasonable value? Do you mean earning the stake? I see coding mentioned 10 hours for minimum staking age, but did not see maximum, so you should be able to receive your POS coin, or you're looking for method to best stake from your existing coins?

Cryptopia will for EMB 200 Confirmations so it needs a little bit time about 12 - 20 hours i think...

I was about to buy EMB but stopped as got confused with the circulating supply and max supply numbers given at CMC. Circulating supply = 11,946,412,659 EMB Max supply = 850,000,000 EMB .

Forever. Or at least it feels that way. Koal-84 said it correctly though. Will take around 20 hours to transfer (at least for me it was always that way)

A new lead dev is fixing the coin's problems. He's active in his discord and had a Q&A livestream yesterday. According to the roadmap, by November the max supply and staking reward percentage will get under control: https://github.com/EmberCoin/Ember/wiki/Project-Roadmap

Wow! I'm trying to decide if I want to use Vultr to hold my wallets for staking. Has anyone done this before because I feel I'm way over my head. Thanks for any and all info!

I have checked into the source code and found maximum total supply should be 850millions. So, I wondering the circulating supply, or maybe there is bug in the code to allow coin generated above maximum. static const int64_t MAX_MONEY = 850000000 * COIN; // 850 Million

Not sure where the hype is coming from. This coin hasn't seen a commit in 10months and most services (pool/block explorer) are offline. Might make a pool if this coin has potential.

I think it's probably worth taking a risk at this price. Just curious though if anyone can give an estimate on what range I should buy into to expect a reasonable stake rate. I see people saying 15-20 million. If I throw in on 1 million will I get anywhere with staking?

this is correct. i've just installed on windows 7. you'll need to update the node connection data manually though. see some of the posts in this thread for directions.

People are confusing this with Embermine (MBRS). MBRS reverted back to being listed as EMB on EtherDelta. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1914703.0
