You got no pre-mine distribution or airdrop or bounties??

Who got? Your question is not clear if you are asking about ongoing swap process than we can convert our XCP based token into ERC20. There is no active airdrop or bounty distribution.

Counterparty uses Bitcoin like Etherium uses Gas, its about $2 worth of Bitcoin to send to the swap, by the way the Dev is paying for the Eth on the other end to send to your ERC-20 Address

By the way, what are the transaction fees on Eth? $0.12? Wasn't it the dev's bad desicion to use counterparty - so shouldn't he be debited for the swap?

It is not bad for the devs if some Covals are burnt because they are not swaped. Less supply of ERC-20-Covals means that devs have a better chance to cash out, finally.

Just ignorant.

Frankly speaking, I do not like writing such things, but... I feel you deserve an exception.

Stop whining. Your behavior is childish.

You tell - "Wasn't it the dev's bad desicion to use counterparty"?! Better ask yourself "wasn't it my bad decision to invest in Coval knowing it is a Counterparty token"?

Its your decisions and you are the responsible one. Stop blaming others for your faults and take responsibility for your actions. Grow up, basically.

yes it a lot of hassle and nobody knows if these guys will ever push out something that will take off, although it does sound useful.

Looks like the swap has stalled?? i see from the explorers that no swaps took place in the last 15 hours

When is the swap cut off. People sometimes will not sent it all in one hit so if it takes days between swaps then it better be many months before the cut of date.

Someone swapped 135M earlier ? devs?

I know someone with some coval but they are away right now, when is the cut off date for the swap?

On the one hand you are right - it was my bad desicion. On the other you are wrong, you are not in the position to close a discussion, whether you are annoyed or not. My point of view is that it is ignorant to expect -without any open explanation or involvement of the community- that all hodlers are willing to pay btc-transaction-fees for the swap. Instead it is argued, 'it is not so high' 'it is low' 'just $2'. This value judgement is not appropriate for all global citizens.

My decision to invest in Coval was based on the assumption that Emblem would allow a fast and almost feeless exchange of value. That was the outlook given by devs.

The swap is open for 4 month's (had 1 month so far).

The actual swap mechanism is a working emblem, and there are 3rd party Crypto's already lining up to use Emblem, just like CyberFM who are quite vocal about it.

https://t.me/mftudotnet ask for yourself

Yesterday had a maintenance period on the swap but this was notified on Coval's Telegram channel.

Who are the people who developed this project. Do you have a big dev team? What are THERI background?

You should join their Telegram channel to get answer in this topic it's hard to let know about the dev team. They are active there and the community is growing very healthy there.

withdrawing coval from trex to counterparty wallet --> withdrawing btc to counter wallet to have 0.0005btc fee to swap coval xcp to coval ERC-20, the total fees = 0.0005btc (withdrawin' from bittrex) + 0.0005btc (to swapping) = 0.001 ~ $10.6, or more if you send remain btc in XCP wallet to another.. fock it! I hope it will pay off.  Angry

As far as I know Bittrex never charged BTC for token withdrawal. If you withdraw token, the fee is in tokens, i.e. in COVAL. You probably missed something.

In any case $10 is not the amount one should think too much about, especially taking into account how much all the altcoins are losing in value every month... Undecided.
If you hold any altcoin, you are losing much more every week... That is crazy, and is pretty painful.
Moreover, the *time* we lose following the alts, is much more valuable.

Its hard times for all alts. Would be nice if COVAL survives it. If it does, developer deserves kudos and a stone monument in the center of crypto city Smiley

maybe you're misreading, I've never said bittrex charge btc for withdrawing Coval, withdrawing Coval take 200 coval fees, yes I know. But, I need some btc to send it in XCP wallet to swap address, so I withdrew btc from my bittrex acc too, and it take 0.0005btc fee, ok? Are you get watch I'm sayin' now?

Ps: Sorry, English isn't my 1st language

Yes, now I see what you mean: to pay Counterparty wallet fees, you withdrew 0.0005 BTC from Bittrex to Counterparty wallet, and paid additional 0.0005 BTC as a fee to Bittrex... Well, what can I say... There were more efficient ways to do that. For example you could withdraw COVAL directly from Bittrex to swap address and save those 0.001 BTC. Actually this is what I did. Those saved 0.001 BTC didn't make me rich though, I believe I've spent them to buy some other useless altcoin... Smiley

Nope, you're wrong again, I withdrew more than 0.0005btc because if I withdraw 0.0005btc I will get zero balance btc in XCP wallet, and bittrex don't let you withdraw that small amount,,,

Ps : of course I thought about send Coval directly from bittrex to Coval swap address, but some people stucked when they withdraw coval on trex and they have to send a ticket to support, so I scare it lost when send it direct to the swap wallet,,,etc whatever it done now><
