Hmm downloaded the qt client in OP and it downloads the blockchain fine. Same goes for the mincoin client on my VPS, downloaded fine. I set up a Mincoin P2Pool, big thanks to Narken for his restless P2Pool modding. 0% Fee for now, as no block has been found so far and i am not certain everything works as it should. Server is in Switzerland btw. http://yacpool.tk:9123/static/Host: http://yacpool.tk (without http:// in guiminer-scrypt) Port: 9123 Username: Your MNC Address Password: x (or anything else will work too) As you can see by the url i plan a YAC Pool too. Please tell me if this works for you or not.

That's weird. Maybe canadian financial police has discovered that MNC is the next big thing and decided to shut it down. But srsly, works just fine on my end.

Wasn't the port originally 9332? I was actually solo-mining with that number. When I changed it to 9335 yesterday, I did finally have like 4 connections and got some blocks.

PSA-- If you haven't seen my post, listed below, it's a list of all sites, services, applications, etc. that support MinCoin. As I suggest in the post, if my list is missing anything, please let me know! Book mark this: [ANN] List of Mincoin Services [MNC]

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011: "I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00. Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/" ...sigh. If only I knew.

I haven't tested this out (sorry, not mining nor have access to a minable computer, ATM) if someone else can verify, I'll suspend the link. Thank you!

100 shares don't equal 100 blocks. We found 5 so far. Also note this from the OP: *After first 3 days block value will be 2 MNC per block until all coins mined which will take roughly 10 years
