Hi pejman632000,

hi
i buy min coin 1200 sat
but now is 463 sat
what do I do ؟
sell or hold
Can it grow?

Yeah, the price dropped a lot yesterday.
Somebody sold 40K MNC and swallowed a lot of the bids.

Thankfully, there has been increased buy support over the last 18 hours and we shouldn't have to panic very long.
I know I'm going to hold and won't sell at these prices.

What are your suggestions for the direction of the Mincoin Project?
Are there some things you want to see done to add value?

Best Regards,
-Chicago

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

The up side to the 40k is that some lucky buyers got an extra awesome deal.

when pump mincoin ?

Hello pejman632000,

Step #1 - - bring Mincoin pool #2 and Mincoin pool #3 online to support the network.
Step #2 - - open trading in the Asia-Pacific region on newly launched exchanges.
Step #3 - - continue developing the Mincoin Project's network for organic growth and a phenomenal store of value.

    Step #4 -- profit.

We are glad you joined us early and can participate in the growth of our economy.

Best Regards,

Sorry, has this issue been addressed?  After downloading many dozens of wallets over the years, I have never had a wallet get flagged like this by antivirus.

If you need to use this wallet for any reason, consider using a virtual machine until the code is patched.  Certainly not a system with other wallets on it that you can't afford to lose.

Yes we are aware of this issue. We are working to address it on our next update. With Avast you have to restore and add an exception. You can also compile from source if you like and inspect the code yourself > https://github.com/mincoin/mincoin

Can't believe this is still active, way to go guys. Found this a bit random, was looking for something else. But (referring to OP post) I agree Bitcoin isn't a currency it is a commodity or asset. What exactly is MinCoin though, I get that the OP post has some outdated stuff in it, Litecoin is kind of a BitcoinClone atleast thats how it started but it has diversified itself quite a lot. And aiming for MinCoin to be a digital commodity is a bit of a stretch imo. However, It's amazing to see such dedication on a project that's almost 5 years old now.

I see you need translations to be done, I'm willing to translate the ANN thread to Dutch if you like as a volunterian act. But what exactly are the plans for this project?

Don't get me wrong, I've always liked mincoin and lost a bit on Crypsy.  Although I have a modest amount/value, I applaud those who have managed to get it going again.

So, what do you need to:
1) get this listed on one or two additional exchanges?  $$$
2) get the wallet fixed so it doesn't get flagged as a virus?

As I see it, these should be the top priorities.  Sorry if this has already been covered, I admit, I haven't read the thread back very far.

Hello Cryptoid,

Thanks for the kind words and for the suggestions. Putting the network together again was a fun summer project. We were just telling the story today on the Mincoin Discord Server.

With regard to those two goals you have defined, we are resolving them and building an international marketing team at the same time. We hope to be listed on an up and coming medium size exchange in the Asia-Pacific region this year and are also in the process of working through some professional relationships in order to become listed on a much larger U.S. based exchange.

As far as the anti-virus flagging is concerned, we will be releasing a new wallet quite soon which adds support for BIP 66 and then shortly afterwards another wallet update to add support for BIP 65. These will both be based on the 0.10 branch of upstream code and it is our hope they won't be flagged like the 0.8 branch wallet.

It is no secret Mincoin is back and we are building the protocol for the long-haul.

It should be mentioned, we will not stop or inhibit those traders who are selling their MNC on Trade Satoshi for cheap because every one of them is precious and with any luck, they will be worth much much more in the future.

If you have the spare BTC, put a few on the bid and try to scoop up 50K or 100K MNC while you still can.

Best Regards,

Hello MoonIsBlue,

I agree Bitcoin isn't a currency it is a commodity or asset.

I'm in agreement with you and consider Bitcoin to be both a store of value and a currency at the same time. Bitcoin also functions as a hedge against fiat and other heavily manipulated markets.

What exactly is MinCoin though

Mincoin is a network with 10x the transaction capacity of Satoshi's Bitcoin. It aims to distribute all coins over 10 years with a maximum supply of only 10 million MNC. Whereas Bitcoin has been 80% mined already and Litecoin has mined about 65% of its total supply due to the reward halving cycle -- Mincoin's flat emission of just 2 MNC per minute until approximately August of 2023 means we are only 40% through mining today.

I see you need translations to be done, I'm willing to translate the ANN thread to Dutch if you like as a volunterian act.

This would be a big help! Join us on the Mincoin Discord Server where we are building our public relations network worldwide. We would also love to have our recently published whitepaper translated into Dutch.

But what exactly are the plans for this project?

Buy up supply from early dumpers who waited 3 years to resume trading. Upgrade the Mincoin protocol to the state of the art in upstream Bitcoin technology. After the network upgrades, promote mobile wallet. Promote the Mincoin advertising network. Promote Mincoin partner websites for mining, trading, gaming and other special interests. Harness the talents of contributors to continually add value and diversify our support base such that Mincoin becomes competitive with the best-in-class cryptos during our lifetime.

Best Regards,
-Chicago
