WW blockchain is being hijacked by a miner using a high hashrate to push up the difficulty and only mining the easy blocks. The blockchain has almost stalled as a result. 20 confirmations can take a week to achieve. I've got WW coin that was sent 5 days ago and is still not in my wallet.

I think the key is to get more people mining. The main problem is the low hashrates and low difficulty which makes it prone to attack. We don't know what their motive is. It could be that they are just hoarding a lot of coin for minimal effort hoping that the coin increases in value. I noticed that there is regularly an different node on the network /Satoshi:0.8.6.2/ running different protocol 80007 from IP 85.236.188.28 . It may be to calculate what hashrate to use or gather other network information. I'm not sure what exactly it does but it appears to come and go.

This means you need a more space on your hard-drive. Probably your /tmp is mapped as a RAM-disk and it is not big enaught for the compilation.
