Furthermore, to quasi-satisfy OgNasty (re: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1659475.msg16678168#msg16678168), I'll personally donate $100 USD to https://www.centraltexasfoodbank.org/bitcoin.

Wow.  That is awesome.  Thank you Phinnaeus Gage.  As I stated, you didn't need to do anything to satisfy me but this does make me happy.

Hey, Phin, don't you show the new badge I gave you to replace your worn off private BTC detective badge? You should. Bitcoin100 is one of the few endeavours that deserves a badge like that Tongue

FWIW, at least you didn't give me the red one below.

Thank you Bruno, and I INSIST ABSOLUTELY that you divert 10% to your own private address for your long and honorable work. I'd do it after the fact, but I want to avoid additional transaction fees.

Thank you so kindly, LightRider, but akin to CornedBeefHash doing similar, your INSIST has been vetoed, opting to redonate the 10% to Rassah, with such course of action now included on the table in the OP.

I tried to include the now-slightly-altered following in the OP, but I kept getting that pesky BBCODE error, so it's now at the top of the second post of this thread:

Quote
Quick Edit: Any and all donations to me have been and will continue to be redonated to Rassah for his efforts which equals or surpasses my efforts during the course of Bitcoin 100. With that said, consider stating allocations directly to him on this thread or via PM if not planning on doing such directly, along with considering donating to the NPO's we've endowed which still accept bitcoin donations (the annotated list is on the OP above).

Due to personal matters (nothing draconian), Rassiah has yet to commence the remittance process, coupled with him texting me the other day that he was having troubles accessing BitcoinTalk [like everybody else has]. Rest assured that funds will start flowing shortly.

Bruno

To deter errors during the remittance process, the following [updated/current] abbreviated table has been PM'ed to Rassah, of which coincides with the full table found in the OP (Rassah's address embedded once remitted if not sooner - now added [~3PM CST on 11/2]). Original donated BTC are Strikethrough so, again, to deter errors, kept in place for quick referencing purposes.

Hi guys. First batch went out: https://blockchain.info/tx/901736b274a8f41b3914365cb6b5c9cba6f81bd97e8fbc9e9837221635ea65cc

Bruno, update who was sent to so we don't accidentally double-send.

It was a pleasure to work with you, and to work on Bitcoin100. I apologize for letting it slide so badly after taking it over. Honestly, just tracking the funds and dealing with charities was a huge job, where every time I sat down to reconcile funds, answer new email requests, and help charities get set up, it was an 8+ hour span of work, and even one or two days of that was getting too much with my other full time jobs. I started dreading sitting down to do it, and unfortunately no one else offered to step up and take over. Being in charge of the money, I also worried about any issues of conflicts of interest, where I both choose whom to donate to, and have the money to donate. It would have been too easy for me to donate to a charity I pick which gives me a kickback in return. Not that I would consider doing such a thing, but I wanted this project to be as honest and transparent as possible, and this would muddy the waters in a way that couldn't be proven to be true or not.

Anyway, thank you Bruno for setting up the project, I have been very happy to be involved, and this is a good way to wind it down. With regards to money going my way, although I kinda need money myself, I'll probably redirect it elsewhere anyway. Plenty of people who need it more than I do (plus I can always just spend a few extra nights driving for Uber/Lyft to make up any shortfalls)

Happy, happy, joy, joy UPDATE, all: The first wave of rebates have been remitted as seen here: https://blockchain.info/address/1BTC1oo1J3MEt5SFj74ZBcF2Mk97Aah4ac.

In a few minutes, I'm gonna double-check (yous, too, do the same) all the txs and link according as outlined in the OP. Afterward, I'm going to send out the first wave of follow-up PMs to all those who've yet to reply. That means you, too, again, The Joint, whom I took it upon myself to PM him twice to date for non-nefarious personal reasoning.

Shortly, I'll also be taking care of a couple promised remittances outlined earlier in this thread.

All that said, I wish to thank Rassah for taking the time to do his part. Please consider thanking him publicly and/or privately as well, all. He's a good guy in this space. I guess same so for edd, in spite of him letting bitcoin.org lapse.  Tongue Tongue Tongue (seriously, edd's a very fine gent in spite of ... okay, I'll quit)

Was ready to post the above when saw that Rassah posted, with one aspect I'll address (though already have):

I will most definitely double- and tripe-check everything, with virtually all the info made public for all to peruse. Not quoted, but surprised to read that you're an Uber dude. Do you do such with the Prius Bitcoinmobile?

You go and rest now, kitty, while I put in another couple hours in this winding-down process.

As promised, I've remitted a $100 donation to CTFB, verified if you click their bitcoin page linked above. I've also sent BurtW 0.4378 BTC as promised to CornedBeefHash.

Now onto double-checking txs and plugging in links, then sending out follow-up PMs. Seriously, this is cutting into my scam-busting time, with Hashing24 now on my radar thanks, again, due to Cointelegraph's ineptness, i.e. accepting their 0.4 BTC press release fee sans doing their promised due diligence in protecting the community, but I digress.

Just want to note that I was not paid.

I just saw that a few minutes ago when I started updated the list linking BTC to txIDs. Please rest assured that you'll be paid as soon as Rassah comes back online, for I'll be sending him a PM shortly about this issue among any other anomalies to date of which I've yet to see sans him not yet paying himself. If you desire the moneys ASAP, please, please, please, PM me, whereupon I'll pay you, then get refunded. Just call me Mr. Fixit.

No rush, just want to make sure the accounting is correct, thanks!

The accounting is fine and everything looks perfect so far sans you unfortunately being left out. I'm for certain that Rassah went by the previous table I PM'ed him, missing the last one I sent which included your vitals. We merely crossed paths - I sent after/during he was already in remitting mode (that's my assessment).

I just finished linking BTC to txIDs in the table currently at the top of the third post of this thread till I put it back in the OP at the top of the fold. Moved due the 64K posting limitations.

Next task, follow-up PMs. NOTE! - I won't be updating the below, with all updates to the table easily found in the OP. The below table was only included to depict the first round of remittances. (edited on 11/4/16, noonish CST).

The BTC in the last column have all been paid if linked:

I just heard this news today - what a bummer.  There was over 109 BTC in the wallet until just recently.  Obviously you've made your decision, but it's too bad it couldn't continue until the wallet ran dry.  It was only this year that I started to pitch Bitcoin 100 to local non-profits, only to discover it was basically over.

It's now going to be a lot harder to overcome objections to non-profits accepting bitcoin.  "Why should we jump through all these hoops?" would get wiped away as an objection if a $1,000 donation was in the offering.

Would have been cool if this could continue, but thank you for doing it for as long as you did and as successfully as you did.   Cool

Thank you for your sentiment, Ian, with apologies for Bitcoin 100 not running a fuller course that you've envisioned, but as you can see we no longer had the bitcoin100.org domain damain, thus no site, let alone not having an official charter (virtually a mute issue, but just the same), etc. Most everybody agrees that Bitcoin 100 was instrumental in one capacity or another in advancing Bitcoin proper via the NPO space where mostly needy charities were endowed. I'd say that BitPay's Tony Gallippi saw the potential using bitcoins in the NPO space thanks to more than in part (my assessment) of Bitcoin 100's success, thus his sister starting up BitGive, in turn they being instrumental in The Water Project accepting bitcoins which we endowed, and hopefully will again come Christmas along with Jason King's Unsung with projected remaining funds in our coffer, so that come December 26, 2016, we'll be bone dry.

First you forgot LightRider, now you forgot thomkaufmann's remittance. Don't think for a second, Kitten, that this community doesn't know exactly what you're up to - at the end of the day [come Christmas], you're gonna buy yourself a new coffee table with the funds from the last user that you'll conveniently forget to remit.  Tongue Tongue Tongue Seriously, just an oversight, folks.  Cool

The above txs have been included in the table found in the OP.

Received thank you all!

We want our moneys back because you omitted a comma along with other grammatical errors in your reply.  Tongue Tongue Tongue

All follow-up PMs have been sent, resulting in a couple more users responding, with one user I had call me to verify he was him given the amount of time his account laid dormant. Just a heads-up to any nefarious actors thinking that they may be able to game the system, with theymos expressing privately (on his own accord) that he's there if needed as well.

I didn't think I would ever have a reason to log back in here.  Thank you for all the effort put in Bruno and Rassah, and for closing it out properly.  I'll PM an address.
