Safe investments is pretty much an oxymoron, especially in crypto.

Just because a project is big, throwing money at it is pretty much just gambling and not really investing.

with a user name like this i thought you are indeed a real guru when it comes to ICO but it was in fact the opposite  what is something big looks like , look for financial advisors near your area and seek their help ,it is the only possible way to safely deposit into something substantial

Bitcoin and altcoins are considered high risk investments because the market is not regulated and highly volatile.
Pumps and dumps do occur, especially in altcoin markets and you can be easily get trapped into buying at peak and selling at bottom.
So if you have no clue, no, there's no such opportunity for you, sorry.

Also the first lesson here is: never get investment advises from random people over internet. You don't know if they want you good or only want to get your money.

I usually say the same thing. Bay looks to hold the most upside from this point if you are looking at the tech behind it.

Altcoin is a scene of pump and dump meaning no such thing as deep analyzation needed about the technology behind of a certain coins if it will be treated as an investment purposes.

But since you point out that it can't be just some regular coins and it has to have some purposes rather than to take profits, I see NEM fits the criteria.

Other alts that are showing some lights in the stage right now is more on profit purposes.

Instead of something big why not spread out your investments and start collecting some cheap altcoins and get ready to hold them.
You will lose some money but as long as you making more then you lose you good to go.

There are new ico's now but make sure that you are taking the risk if you are going to risk your money just observe first if the project is really good and to check if the company is really great when it comes on handling coins you ico incent is good too buy some and have some bonuses when you buy there coins.

You can buy ICONOMI for cheap, it is around ICO price until now, I do not need to talk about this project, just visit their ann thread to see what people are saying about ICN, it is absolutely good investment.

If I were you I won't look further than these three Altcoins, Zcash is going to be the darling of the market soon, ICONOMI very talented and professional team behind it and the price is still realtively low when compared to the market potential and last Wings DAO, I think they will get the DAO thing right unlike the Slock.it guys

Honestly right now I'd reccomend you investing in altcoin projects that arent actually altcoins. For eample become a financial investor into new altcoin mining pools or gambling games.
