This has an added bonus of being able to create MULTISIGNATURE addresses.

On another note. Please notice that there are ongoing problems with the CENTRALIZED exchanges. This is one of the reason why we chose Counterparty platform. This way, we will always have a means of exhange thru the DECENTRALIZED exchange. While still controlling all your own funds.

Those are good questions.

If we DO transfer platform, most probably we will use the same method we used from KARMA(x11) to KTN

For the total, I think it will be better to adjust the number so that it will not look too expensive nor too cheap. Maybe a 10X or 184M.

For the fundamentals, the platform carries most of them.

Not because Counterparty platform has any shortcomings, I still believe that CP is still more stable compared to ETH platform.

I just want to explore this option further with you.


When a community member mentioned to me that "Maybe we better change platform to ETH", the immense WORK that I have to do was the first thing that hit me.

While for the community it will only involve some minor inconvenience and a couple of clicks. On my side of the fence, I would be overhauling ALMOST EVERYTHING.

Changes will be needed on:

1. The OP of this thread.
2. Our Website (massive changes)
3. Token use tutorials (both written and video forms, etc.)
4. Exchanges
5. Advertising/Marketing materials (social network, the GKS ED game)
6. All of the above WHILE catering to each and every request of coin exchange.
(All these things mentioned need MONEY and TIME)

All these will be added on top of what I am doing at this moment (I am still in Asia for our investors).


So, I would also like to let you know that if there's a person who SHOULD refuse the platform change it is me.

While, I am conducting the POLL above, I am also considering all these works that will result and the market situation. It means that even if the YES wins above, it does not automatically mean WE WILL TRANSFER.

Counterparty platform has no problem and I like how the guys doing it's maintenance are doing their job. There are tons of changes that are also in the works with CP and it will be comparable if not better than what ETH platform has now.

There is only ONE THING that we all feel the bumps from, it is the TRANSFER speed. While ETH transfers at 30secs or less, CP tokens takes a minimum of minutes and maximum of days. To make it clear this behavior is not even because of Counterparty but rather by BITCOIN network itself. The guys behind CP are doing many things to remedy this situation, in fact they are currently testing those methods where CP users can TRANSFER FAST and CHEAP.

Other than that present situation. CP still holds more confidence from me.

Thank you Coin_trader for your vote of confidence, I firmly believe we are on the right track  and steadily moving forward towards our goal of making KTN goals a reality. Soon we will be sharing the progress we are having with the community. I would suggest that everyone should use this opportunity to secure CHEAP XCP and accumulate even cheaper KTN being sold at the DEX.

Let me remind all of you that KTN has only less than 7 million tokens in circulation. and even if all KTN be available on the market(which will not happen in foreseable future) we only have 18,400,000.

Hi, bitwarrior I don't think MERCATOX is a dependable exchange, it has been months that KTN's wallet is under maintenance on their site and there's no communication on when they will enable it again. It is not possible to deposit or withdraw KTN there at the moment.

Judging on their own thread, many people are also having many issues on that platform. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1662702.340. For now, we have to make do with XCP DEX https://xcpdex.com/KARMATOKEN?market=XCP.

There was a brief period that KARMA(x11) were sold up to 2 satoshis each on Yobit. Placing KTN of 1:10,000 ratio (highest swap ratio) at 0.0002 BTC/KTN. At the DEX people are buying and selling at 251 satoshis and below.

After long and hard consideration of all pertinent matters, transferring from COUNTERPARTY to ETHEREUM platform proves to be advantageous for all of us (especially you KTN holders).


Below are the compelling reasons:

1. Speed of transactions.
2. Cost of transactions.
3. Platform Userbase.
4. Financial Foundations.
5. Development Teams.
6. Real World Businesses joining Ethereum Platform
7. Exchanges Support.
8. Potential for Further Growth.

Here are the details of our transfer:

a. The total tokens would be raised by a factor of 10. i.e from 18,400,000(xcp based) to 184,000,000 KTN (ETH BASED TOKENS)
    swap rate will be 1 KTN(xcp based token) = 10 KTN (Eth based token) for the whole swap period.

b. All KTN holders that swapped KARMA(X11)(WHITELISTED ADDRESSES) will be able to swap their KTN (XCP based) to KTN (ETH based), FREE of CHARGE.

c. All other KTN holders from NON-WHITE LISTED XCP addresses will have to send 0.003 ETH, when they request for the swap.

b. The number of KTN will still be locked and no further issuance beyond 184,000,000 will be made.

d. We will renew our campaigns and bounties for exchange listing this coming months. (Exchanges had hard time adding XCP based tokens before)

e. All our communication channels will slowly be edited to reflect this move.

f.  XCP swap address (Where you would send your KTN based on XCP) will be provided later.

g. KTN Ethereum based address will be provided later along with the code verification.

h. The swap will be open for 1 year, starting from the first day that the XCP swap address is provided.

i.  All other plans and roadmap, will continue as they are, only now the token platform will be changed.
