Right now can be a good buy time and also maybe in the beginning of the next year but what is already told its hard to say what is also gonna happen with the bitcoin.

Everyday could be a good time to buy bitcoins as long as you have enough money for buying it and you are decided to buy bitcoins. But still there are some consideration that many are still waiting for the right time to buy when the price of bitcoin is some kinda falling down. And in this situation if will do that then your wait will just make you more lose a lot of money for the price is now increasing.

I agree assuming that bitcoin price have linear growth.  But we all know that it does not happen.  Bitcoin have several dips along the growth.  So it would be best time to buy during those dips.   there are some indication whether bitcoin price will go up or down.  Just focus on the news and wait for some bad press and prepare your fund to buy more bitcoins.

Don't listen to the idiots, buy some btc as SOON AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN.....
no need to go all in, but don't be thinking about waiting until next year or the following year because btc will jump to $10,000 and then....... Put into perspective check the thread below

The best time to invest in Bitcoin is in spring because then can get to a lower value and holidays grow and i remove your money but not sure if it will increase the value.

interesting theory you have there but unfortunately for you the history doesn't seem to be agreeing with your theory much.

this year (2016) in spring price stayed in the $400 (380-420) range until May.

last year (2015) in spring price was 200ish until Oct (1 peak in Mar, 1 in Jul)

the year before last (2014) price was crazy and falling from $800 and so on....

and remember up to $50 change is only random changes in price regardless of seasons and any other stuff going on!

This is what I will suppose to say, because if you will wait for the price to decrease then it won't happening anymore as the price will keep on increasing.

And if you have enough fiat money for buying bitcoins then do it today without hesitation or else you will regret that you won't buy earlier.

Then for the next days you will the price of bitcoin will be a lot of higher.

I don't think it's a good idea to buy BTC when it's not far from its all time high price...

Meanwhile, btc holders (the people who bought some already) are up 14.44% in the last 30 days...  Roll Eyes
But you wait if it makes you feel better
I've heard this same story  when btc was $2-3

we are not really there, it mean that if we can get there you need to buy now because the price have a high chance to increase to that level, this if you really think that the last high is still a mental barrier for the buyers, but i don't think so, we can witness to another greater ath soon

At least with respect to one thing, I agree with what Chandler Guo said a few days ago... I think that Bitcoin is not that expensive at the moment. With all the improvements that can be implemented in the network, we are in a moment of opportunities, since Bitcoin can reach levels not previously achieved.
That's why, a few weeks ago, I have invested in Bitcoin, and I'm in this for the long run.

When do you think will be a best time to buy bitcoin and when is the best time to keep bitcoin first before selling?
Everyday is the best time to buy bitcoins and selling it too.  As long as you get some profit on the bitcoin you just bought.
Traders do it everyday, buy at low ,sell them at high price,as long as you git some profit, sell it.

Every time I see it in the 750 range, there comes a big drop. It seems to me large mining firms are selling at that point most likely to pay electric bills. I would say anything between 500 and 700 is a great range.

To know the right time to invest in Bitcoins is necessary to put some efforts to know better the market and the possible changes that can be brought to the Bitcoin ecosystem. Based on this premise, I believe that now is a good time to invest, since there is the possibility of segwit being activated until the end of this year.

Honestly I debate with this question all the time. It's really hard to decide a good time, especially now with price so high and the market moving sideways. Dollar Cost Averaging will usually be the best comrpromise you can make, even though lump sump is usually better long-term, I kick myself whenever I invest and price goes up or down drastically.

i see the point mate as i also seeing this since the dollar comparison with our local fiat is to high and bitcoin really rallying i can't say what will be the best time in terms of value but maybe following the basic principle of buying low and selling high would drive us to at least earn from our trades.

But what is defined as a "high" and a "low"? Regardless,  I think I'm going for the plunge, and buying 4 BTC. I'll keep it near by or invest it, I'm not sure...

its 740USD now... to me, it's still a good time to buy more bitcoins. If you have the money to buy gadgets why not bitcoins ? You lose money anyway by buying gadgets you don't really need but want.
