 what do you mean? that there is a bonnet cpu mining or what? if yes, then this is like this cpu coins are a target for botnets.

GPU miners will get more and more powerful over time.
Botnets just dump anyway so just another way to distribute the coins. Instead of you burning electricity buy up the coins cheaply on dips.
Then again is zcash a good investment? who can say.
Ask bcx to stop it or sell you some in bulk for a good price.

It will take some time to have really powerful botnet mining Zcash. If ever. And with the current decline of the price and growth of difficulty it may not even worth it. Coins like XMR are more stable and people say that the botnets already mine it for a long time. And then why change? It makes more sense to think that with the hype around Zcash everybody started to mine it and also it was hugely over-valuated at launch. |

I do have my doubts considering Zcash as a good investment ,when the dust settles down i expect a value less than $50 in my opinion and it all depends upon big time investors who are planning to invest big time in Zcash mining. i will consider buying this at a later time rather than jumping in. |

You aint seen nothing yet! When the rewards normalise the price will settle around .01 IMHO. Then will be a long accumulation phase followed by an almighty pump! As for botnet - of course, it's a high value CPU POW coin. |

But also average CPU uses less electricity then average GPU to mine coins.
With all the hype about ZCash and the initial pump the news of botnet is a bad business for Zcash developers, they should have anticipated this and tried to prevent this from happening
All coins that are asic resistant and can be mined by CPU are also mined with botnets That is nothing new and there is nothing bad about it and botnet mining will be here forever. |

$100 is way less then $1,750.000 as people were paying first day. What did those people think? If people that pay $100 are stupid, then those that paid over a milion are insane. |

$100 is way less then $1,750.000 as people were paying first day. What did those people think? If people that pay $100 are stupid, then those that paid over a milion are insane. but its loook its go down to 100$..some even say 20-30$..but i do not believe so low...but now 12.6k coins out..but next month there will be 60k out if i am not wrong...so more sale pres happen... |

... unless they were the people selling the coins to themselves, of course... This crazy price to me is an indication of market manipulation. No-one in his right mind would ever have paid more than a million dollars for a coin that is fresh. But if you hold a ZEC and you hold 3000 BTC, then why not buy your own ZEC with your own BTC and have the price charts explode (with the hope that another idiot is going to buy your coin later at $100, instead of the initially planned $15 or so) ? |
