The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

But also don't forget about the fact that the Darcrus will be added on Waves platform

Asset is already issued on Waves so it won`t be a problem to migrate with all users anytime we wish. There is also no problem with listing DAR on traditional exchange with NXT blockchain or Waves blockchain as long as asset is fulfilling all the requirements and DAR is.

From the discussions with the dev on darcrus slack, cap is 1,000 BTC, then more devs will be hired to continue this project's development. I believe this will be reached and even surpassed significantly. Sigwo has built a positive and reliable reputation in the crypto community and anybody who doesn't know this, should do some research on his work

From the FAQ: Will there be an escrow securing the fact that if we deposit btc and the threshold is not met we get the refund? or do we have to trust you? The ICO platform is being ran by Stratis. BTC is not released to me until after the tokens are distributed. Yes, you must have trust and confidence in any ICO you participate in. I have way more to lose by being untrustworthy or shady in this endeavor. You will need to have trust with me whether the minimum is raised or not. In the event the 1k BTC isn't hit, I'll still be in the community. I definitely do not want to be 'black sheeped' because I tried to scam the ICO. More information about this will be released prior to ICO. The CEO of Stratis is building/running the ICO platform and I have secured escrows which will be announced in a few hours. Also, the BTC raised goes directly to a Coinbase Vault, needs 2 of 3 signatures to release funds, and funds take 48 hours (so they can be canceled by any of the escrows) in case of collusion.

We only need NXT as a token distribution platform until exchanges have Waves asset tokens integrated NXT isn't going anywhere, it has been a great platform for years and will continue well into the future.

My BTC is ready.

Escrows are announced!
Julian Yap (Jumbucks and Ubiq Developer) and Cory Teslikis (Pool develper and owner of etc.minerhub.io) have agreed to be the Darcrus escrow agents. They have signed up on Coinbase and they must authorize the withdraw of any ICO funds in the Vault. After the withdraw request has been initiated, Julian or Cory MUST sign along with Steven to authorize the withdraw. After authorized, there is a 48 hour period in which the withdraw can be stopped. If this happens, the process of authorizing the withdraw must start over. Both of these individuals are well respected and have projects of their own.
BTC will be distributed to Darcrus after the ICO ends and the Darcrus tokens are sent to participants. The projected date for the withdraw to begin is December 12th, 2016.

Sounds good. Ok so Darcrus will be available on Waves, NXT and in the future possibly Stratis. How would it work if I'd like to send Darcrus from a Waves address to e.g. a Stratis address?

There will be an exchange system built to go between the different platforms in the future. No time table on this, as it is not a core project. dAppsheets can use any underlying platform without actually having Darcrus present on the platform (IE a bitcoin fork with dAppsheet on top).

Be careful with coinbase. They can make trouble, asking you what the funds are for and hold coins back for weeks. Next time please ask me earlier than 3 days (including a weekend) when you want me to escrow.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

I'm a little confused about the tokens role in this system The Blockchain database idea sounds like a good one to me But what is the role/function of the token ICO investors would be buying? What gives it value? Are Darcrus tokens needed by companies/clients who would use Darcrus's blockchain database services?
I tried to read through the thread but there are too many posts about bounties so apologies if this has been covered
can the Dev answer this? Someone else responded but it was kind of buzzwowrdy to me. I think a big concern is that alot of applications for this IMO will be private blockchain-y. In that case, how do holders of Darcrus benefit? If applications are built on private chains that arent powered by Darcrus coins?
