The shocking news of Donald Trump’s election victory rattled markets across the world, leading some investors to seek refuge in assets outside of stocks and bonds. The price of gold surged, as it usually does during times of uncertainty, but it wasn’t the only asset to benefit.

The cryptocurrency bitcoin also jumped to a recent high of $738 overnight, and was trading at around $726 on Wednesday morning according to Coindesk. That represents around a 3% increase from the $708 mark that was yesterday’s bitcoin price and this is all according to Fortune

All I can say is that it is good news for all of us here especially those who are still holding their bitcoin from 2012 up to now who continue to believe in bitcoin. Ill just continue to believe in it too so that ill get good profit too. I hope that trump's victory will have further good effect on bitcoin in the near future. I think that the only reason that bitcoin went higher from the point people realized that Trump is going to win the race,is that the stocks and USD currency went down,so at the same hand bitcoin had to go up to match the prices decreases.

Yeah yeah, obviously like the markets went down after his winning, but that doesnt says that we will have a recession/crisis thanks to his election.
This is just a shock, freshly after elections, you should remember how much Clinton was hyped, according to Trump etc. etc

As i can see the in the preev.com the price of bitcoin is already decrease and i really don't know why is the reason why the bitcoin is down in that price if it's really because of trump victory and because of his coins then we do not know hoping that bitcoin price will be increase again and increase

I dont think the bitcoin price rise or drop is anyway related to Trump winning or the US elections. Its just the normal BTC rise and falls that keeps happening because of traders nothing new really. But if it really did matter on Trump winning then its a sharp rise and gradual fall, it was $708 before winning at $732 after winning and now its gradually dropping and its at $699 right now.

My bank stocks are climbing and climbing now ever since he got elected. He promised them deregulation, so a big chance to earn lots of money.
Bitcoin just had a small peak, but now we are even a little lower than before the election. Seems like stocks are more lucrative for investments at the moment.

its just like what happens to gold and JPY. goes up for a bit and then back down. People still gave faith in the US economy under Trumps hand. To be honest, he could bloom the US economy, but with the price of less international influence.

I think no one expected that if Trump gets elected Bitcoin will moon.This was defenitely some false assumption.
Bitcoin doesn't need Trump or any goverment to grow in value. Ok if the mess things up even more it will help to push up Bitcoin's value fast.
But we don't need it as we are developing and progressing without their need.We've don this the last 8 years and will continue doing so.
