Can someone assist me in setting my worker difficulty?  I have been playing with it but I am not sure it is making much difference.

I have just a single r9 290 and right now it is set at 192.  Everything seems to be going well but I am not sure where my difficulty should be any of the others pools I have joined I was not setting the worker difficulty myself.

  Thank you for any assistance.

hi,

i am using the API as is now.
But i'm noticing what seems to be a bug.
The return per coin is something like this :
,"cap":{"confirmed_rewards":"0","hashrate":"0","estimated_rewards":"0","payout_history":"0","pool_hashrate":4111,"round_shares":false,"block_shares":"57874715"}

I think estimated_rewards is supposed to be filled with 'Per-block estimate'
but it seems that estimated_rewards is filled with the value from
Per-Block Estimate when that value > 0.
but when Per-Block Estimate = 0 , then it is filled with the value from unconfirmed.
It would be great if it would always be filled in the same way and an extra field for the unconfirmed
or have 2 extra fields in the api-return : unconfirmed_rewards & block_estimate.

kind regards,
spherix

192 is probably a bit high for one video card.  Maybe try 96?

Also don't expect your miner to register the change immediately.  For some reason it takes a bit to propagate through.

Have been mining WDC for the past 4 hours but it seems I haven't received any of them. I don't see my summed khashrate at the topleft but the individual workers do show that they are busy on wdc.

Any actions concerned since is that I have change from EUlink to USlink. Since this last one works in my setup.

How should I proceed?

I have a post in the newbies thread, but now I guess I can post here. I have DroidBTCminer on my Kindle fire conected to the getwork address on multipool. The miner says I've been successfully mining 200-500 khash/sec and giving me yays every couple seconds, but I haven't seen an update on multipools site at all. It's been 15+ hours and I'm not sure if it's me or the site. Please help.

why did you decide to add mooncoin with no exchange? I believe this is the first time I've seen you do this with a coin.

Thanks again for all your hard work. I appreciate you service!

It was a predetermined launch deal for moon.  To have an established large pool to start the blockchain from the block 1 while other pools had to compile and setup before mining.  The result they wanted was an established blockchain at low difficulty to prevent forks in the chain.  To say the release was problematic was an understatement.  Being the only pool we suffered from an incredible surge of miners as well as a few DDOS attacks from lesser people. I don't know if it will be added to an exchange any time soon but you can bet that if its profitable, flound will throw it on the multipool in the future.

If you like what I've posted, mine for me on whatever algo you like on www.zpool.ca for a minute using my bitcoin address: 1BJJYPRcRPzTEfByCwkeJ8SCBcrnGD1nhL

Its on coinex.pw. Its an exchange of sorts. You can trade it on there anyways. So early days and it got on an exchange, not bad I think. But yes, a horrid start.

That's not true we also added TIPS without an exchange.

I don't necessarily need an exchange to add a coin, I only need an exchange to add it to the Multiport.

Heavy load lately combined with DDOS attacks.  I am opening the new east coast pool server tomorrow which will double our US capacity.

I'm having problems connecting to the US SHA-256 server. I can connect to the EU server just fine. I seem to only have this problem on new connections, not on proxies that are already connected and getting work.

Anyone else experiencing this?

US East pool server is up at us-east.multipool.us

Added new A record for US West pool us-west.multipool.us

pool1.us will now DNS load balance between east and west.  If you want to make sure you go to a particular area, please change your miners to point at that pool directly.

I am really loving these new US servers. My GPU farm runs at 34Mh/s but I could never get more than 28-29/Mh/s from the stats page. Now it shows me running at 33.8Mh/s!!! Finally I can spend a little less time solo mining.

On a  side note, I did really well on WDC last night. I hit 7 blocks in 10 hours. I'd rather be able to be part of a pool though.

Other than the blistering new speeds, I did have one problem. I had one of my workers temporarily banned. Fortunately my automation scripts provide a unique worker name for each rig, otherwise I would have been really SOL. The problem seems to have cleared up for now. I have it set to not submit stale shares, so not sure why it was misbehaving.
