I read some replies, mainly in the Mining section that said mining was a fun hobby for them and not a thing that they could continue doing as a business. In the Project Development section I found many projects that generated profit like your local businesses.

How serious is BTC to you? Could you look at it as a foundation of business/job or is it just an exciting hobby/experiment?

None mine for fun, isn't fun. They mine to get some revenue, bitcoin is a currency, not a job... You can make a service where you can get paid in bitcoin and that's it.

The serious thing to learn about is the blockchain, you can do a lot of things there.

I don't think of Bitcoin as a super serious thing that I do, but I don't think it is a small part of my life either and there is a fair amount of investment I have in it, either with time or money.

I might look at getting involved with a business at some point soon, but I think that's a bit of a ways away.

To me BTC is a serious opportunity, but is just one of my many projects. I like to keep my scattered brain occupied, without something to concentrate on I find it hard to keep my head straight. I get lost in thought, so I try to keep busy. But with the growth I've seen thus far it's hard to keep away. Trying to start my own freelance business on the side but I'm about to toss that on the back burner.

To me bitcoin is a nice hobby, but nothing more.
I am interested in technical stuff and the internet. So bitcoin is a point that has woken attention.
The fact that you can transfer money relatively anonymous even in these days is cool. And I like cool stuff, too.
But all together my life would not look much different without bitcoin.

  It's me!!!

Bitcoin definitely is a serious opportunity for many of us imo.
It offers or will offer so many differerent possibilities to change parts of our daily life to something good and less complicated.
The first step is bitcoin being used as money or as backbone for many different new startups of the financial space.
But that's just one minor part und many more will come.Who knows what kind of business and ideas we will see in 5-10 years we can not even think of now.
However this doesn't mean I put all money and time into Bitcoin or crypto currencies in general.
Have an eye on it, maybe invest a bit in it when you can and wait what's going to happen. To me this a bit like the early 90s and the birth of the world wide web!

For me it is both a excitement to use new tech as well as i have taken bitcoin as good opportunity to start some local business like crypto currency exchanger, which i am yet to open. There are numerous blockchain/bitcoin based business opportunities for everyone around the world, as bitcoin is still in its premitive stage of adoption the first of its kind business can easily get popularity in short term.

I take Bitcoin seriously, not as some fun or game. I think it represents revolution in finances and should be treated that way. And it has a future. It already has entered in many businesses and companies, so this is serious.
It helped me in my everyday life and expenses, so in serious matters.

This is serious currency which can safe people from inflation, remember how bitcoin can save greece? Although this just a temporary but it's provided bitcoin can save people.

And I personally take it this is not a joke, this is the greatest thing can bring world better, at an economic view especially.

Mining was a fun hobby for awhile and thankfully I made a little coin off of it.
I'm pretty serious about bitcoin and very serious about Bitcoin.
The concept is fascinating, watching it evolve takes up a nice chunk of my time.

If you are dealing with bitcoin and cryptosciences almost every day for three years, then it is serious. It's not an important part of my life, but it has become my best hobby. Still, I could imagine, to be able to get along without bitcoin.

Since Bitcoin is money , so if you want to get money you must be serious for to do your work . Because in here some payment processor doesn't accept me within some reasons , so I choosing Bitcoin as my primary and until now BTC has been helped me a lot.

Did you mining before? , if didn't you shouldn't talk like that. Maintaining your cost (electricity , hardware , and etc) is important for mining so if you're success to do this you can get profit even on halving or you can mining altcoin as well for the alternative.

For me it is a serious thing and i don't think so people use bitcoin for fun, hobby etc because time is very important now a days so no one want to waste their time from where they don't get any reward. People use bitcoin for making money and for profit, bitcoin is very serious to many people because they meet their monthly expenses by working on bitcoin.

Well I can surely say that bitcoin has become a regular part of my life now as I'm earning bitcoin and selling it for fiat, I can help out with paying bills, buying groceries if needed,etc.. having my own money that is.

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

I treat it mostly as an investment, but I also spend a lot of Bitcoin in shops that accept it.
So, it's something that very serious for me.
