Is the divedend already distributed? I do not see on my transaction history so it seem it has not yet distributed or am I missing  something?

Hi, yes dividends already sent. If you are using Nxt client just click sidebar Dashboard  --- Account ledger, and you will get all transactions , including "Dividend Payment".

Btw is this dividend paying in monthly right?

Correct. We will try to keep it at the same date.

Yes, but a few factors keeps Janus from jumping right to exchanges since December launch of it.

1. The JNS tokens being sold at 1.5 NXT per on the NXT exchange help fund our work and is a necessary component to the success.

2. We did a community vote in slack and majority wanted exchanges later rather than sooner.

3. Join slack and read history there are upcoming exchanges and one in particular will be accomodating Janus and NXT/Ardor users to a much higher degree than any current exchange.

I know everyone loves poloniex, and for now it has good volume and traders, but we are giving Janus token users a specialised experience. The exchange that will give our users their dividends directly on exchange without hesitation will win our business and volume.

Dividends in the NXT wallet do not show up like a traditional send/receive so we can use the method above or just observe your NXT balance growing.

If you want to actually see the transaction using the wallet.mynxt.info, you will need to add the full client plug-in for 500 nxt.  Otherwise the only way to see it is by keeping track of your balance.  If you are using that webwallet, I recommend the plugin because that just opens up a whole new world, and it's worth it.

I'd agree if the slack was smaller, but given the activity on this forum thread vs. the Slack channel they represent the majority. We will have exchanges though, but will listen to all aspects of the Janus community. "These people" represented significant holders of the Janus token, and a good asset should listen to its investors vs the day traders imho.

Edit:  And anyway it doesn't make sense to rush to exchages when the initial distribution is still going on.  Why rush it?  Why not wait until the price of Janus is set higher during the next rounds of distribution?

I agree, we already nave nxt platform which for now is big enough in handling the distribution of JANUS plus some other exchanges coming anyway, so it's NOT like you can't trade it..but to be honest JANUS is more of a long term gig for the more serious investors like some of us, who got into this to mainly follow the five year trajectory that is in place, but of course there will be some tokens changing hands for sure. Once the other sites start getting built and giving out divvies, I doubt anyone would want to sell any tokens before they become millionaires or very wealthy individuals. I am looking long term ahead and I can visualize something very different here than your average crypto currency or digital token.. I see something between a token and a stock..  ..Yes I am sure some people buying now just want to flip their JANUS in March for a quick profit but the main holders in JANUS want to do that, HOLD for long term growth and earnings.
I just also want to thank the JANUS team for my dividend payout which I just put right back in to buy more Tokens.

Is there something about the output of the coin on the stock exchange? It seems to me that this is not exactly a token increase in the price above the level it was at the ICO, it has become clear to many inexperienced investors, so as soon as I get the opportunity to merge them on the exchange, immediately do it

Really? Do you think the price will increase by 50-100% immediately after the launch of Janus network and entering the stock exchange? I think you are very naive, here it is necessary to hope that the price would not fall below the ICO prices

Better start by reading their distribution plan it goes up.
