I have read the equibit.org and linkedin carefully, and read the previous posts carefully. I have some questions as below:
1, Who will use the equibit systems? Uber? IBM? start-up company?
2, Which country company can use the system? USA?Canada?China?Japan?
3, Why they will choose using equibit system, but not local existing financial system?
4, How will equibit company ensure the token after sale will be higher than mining token? as we know, after 1M token sale, the other token will be mined everyday for 50/block, there will have 50*6 /hours*24hour/day=7200token/day mined .
thanks.

Thanks for reaching out.

1. Equibit will be open to anyone to use, of course big companies who are already on stock exchanges will have to perform a corporate action to switch over to the Equibit system. If the motion carries all the existing holders (i.e. the stock exchanges and institutional investors) they could then do a share-for-share swap. However there are thousands if not millions of secondary and otc markets and startups alone all over the world, Equibit cuts down the overhead costs of creating, managing and distributing shares. But iis also much more than that. You can read our whitepaper to find out more.

2. Companies in any countries should be able to use Equibit. Our lawyers will actually be preparing a comprehensive legal resource for companies in all major jurisdictions to do this. There would be template shareholder/director resolutions, bylaw amendments etc. We also want to identify all the jurisdictions that allow securities to be issued in bearer (anonymous) form. I think that will be a huge plus and Equibit could help remediate the negative reputation that bearer assets currently have.

3. The incentive is that those companies would no longer need to use a transfer agent, which represents a major portion of their investor relations overhead. Equibit is much more than simply a securities register, it can be used to communicate with all our your investors, poll them, handle proxies, and KYC issues in the secondary market. Apple has millions of investors worldwide and doing that using existing services is terribly expensive, slow, and insecure.

4. It's a fair question, but there's no objective answer (value is subjective). Every ICO buyer is making their own educated guesses as to what the token will do.

I think you have to add more news in the forum to show traders that the project is active and continues to move forward.
The forum of your project has a few updates.

Your project looks good to me and I think he needs a little push to get started.

thank you for your feedback, I personally think EDC are making a great innovation , but I am curious how the Chinese start-up company can use the EDC system. Due to EDC is a system created by a Canada's company, Is it familar with Chinese local law? how to ensure the stock created on EDC systems is legal and effective , and approved by Chinese goverment? if possbile, I wish get more detail introduce from DEV, thanks.

Looking at the Equibits team, i am sure i have seen a couple of these members in other projects.

There is no mention of any teams members been involved in other crypto projects, can you confirm this please.

The 2 Team Members in question are:

Chris Horlacher

and

Marc Godard

OK and your OP still has a link saying John McAffee join Equibit, which he clearly has not and was very unhappy to read such!

and you still have link there saying he did join you....  and you have very high valuation of company already....

 Sad

There's LinkedIn profiles for each team members in the OP, check them out. Why would they need to mention which other projects they are involved in on this thread?

The link you are talking about McAfee is an article. The team released a clarification about that on their news page: http://equibit.org/post/mcafee-clarification/

I read through the news clarification regarding McAfee.

However it still doesn't answer the question:

1) How did you guys end up stating he will be taking the CSO position and reporting directly to the board?
Whether his position was to be full-time, paid or not, how does one just hand out the title of CSO without any actual contractual agreements, NDAs, etc and most importantly without the CLEAR understanding of what role he would be playing. Consulting and taking a position at a company are two very different things.
This is highly suspicious, and raises a huge red flag. - please clarify how this confusion came about.

2) What are you plans for a security audit of your code and with whom potentially?

I ask these questions because my investment and I'm sure many others depends on these answers.

What advantage does Equibit have over Byteball's Regulated assets?

"Regulated assets
Regulated institutions can issue assets that are compatible with KYC/AML requirements. Every transfer of such asset is to be cosigned by the issuer, and if there is anything that contradicts the regulations, the issuer won't cosign."

How are traders not jumping all over this ico. Transparent and legit team working on project for several years, vc invested in first round giving $3 million valuation, John McAfee as advisor, low initial coin count. This is an investors wet dream. Looking forward to future developments and the equibit launch in a few months from now.
