Very interesting project!
I have some questions regarding ICO:

- will/can EQB be traded at online exchanges like poloniex, bitrex, etc.
- how can I hold my EQB (wallet, online platform, ...)?
- how can I take profit as (ICO-)EQB holder (e.g. trading EQB, ...)
- are there any other income streams for (ICO-)EQB holders besides selling/trading their EQB (dividends, etc.)?

Thanks a lot!

Really good questions!

I have one about the ICO: as the coins will have its price increased each 100.000 I am worried about the disadvantage of a person using Bitcoin vs credit card. How the system assigns the price per token to someone who hasn't confirmed yet his/her bitcoin transaction?

Best,

Hey,
Great question! There arent any disadvantages to using cc and using bitcoin. Essentially the EQB/BTC price is fixed using a trailing USD/BTC 24h average blended from several major exchanges so once you hit the "Buy" button, the price is locked in and you must make their payment in about 5 minutes or lose the reservation.

Really pleased with your answer. Just letting you know that I'm going to ask for a day off in my work just so I can wake up at 04:00 AM GMT so I can be ready for the ICO when it starts  Grin

That's dedication! I appreciate the support. Hopefully skipping out on work won't present too many problems for you Smiley

They owe me a couple of favors so no problem at all, and who knows, with a little bit of luck maybe I don't have to go back to the office  Grin

Why is price for Equibit so high and starts with $2? Normally the price is calculated by money collected during ICO to number of tokens issued?

The valuation is what I was about to comment on, $2 starting price, it better worth the price

Anyway why this ANN ICO make in Bitcoin project development section? What is different with Altcoin? Can you explain it?
I suggest to move this thread to Announcement (altcoin) section to make more people know if this is a new ICO project.

Best regards

My apologies. If the community feels that it would be better suited there then I have no issues with having it moved.

That's correct. You wouldnt receive dividends off the bat until that EQB is signed to a company.

And how do I get my blank EQBs signed by a company?

Yeah, it's the best way for you. There is more people to invest in your project if you have a good project in the future. But, just remind if there is some people need good account to make them believe with your project as well.

Cheers.  Wink

I think it only attracts bounty whores and crypto crybabies looking for a quick profit, if the ICO is capped and good it won't have a problem reaching their target (look at Golem, it was sold out in what, 12 minutes?)

There's been lots of updates - the team has recently released the ICO page here: https://ico.equibit.org/
They have also been in Chinese media recently.
I hear what you are saying though, we will share more news here as a post.

Interesting project and looks like there is a lot of talent on the development team.  I like that any level of investor is the target for the market, I will be marking this and checking back on it later.

I love Bitcoin

Maybe you can also elaborate on how dividends are calculated (regarding token holders), because I could not find anything in your papers.

I'm very interested to join this great project! Many greetings from Austria, Christian

That's correct. You wouldnt receive dividends off the bat until that EQB is signed to a company.

And how do I get my blank EQBs signed by a company?

please elaborate on that, thanks!

To clarify, you wouldnt really be able to get blank EQBs that are owned by you signed by another company, the process is that EQBs are purchased by a company who then signs them, these are then sold to people.

Once a company signs/issues on EQB if they choose to pay dividends, they will know your dividends address and transfer value to you based on the issued EQB you own.

Ok, not trying to FUD but this worries me: http://equibit.org/post/investor-opportunity/

So you were offering 200.000 preferred shares for USD $0.50 each to be redeemed for an equivalent number of the pre-mined units.

Care to elaborate what happened?

Hi, Lisa from Vanbex here.
Regarding your question, that was the very first offering they made which was in 2015 and closed successfully after 30 days. A single investor bought the whole thing and they took common shares instead. Details about that funding round were published here: http://coinjournal.net/equibit-development-corp-close-funding-round/
