The Kelly criterion should not be applied to a bankroll which is not stable (that means people can add funds and withdraw them whenever they want).

What does this mean?

I badly expressed myself. Kelly criterion should be applied every time. I just wanted to tell that it's hard to grow if your investors withdraw every time bankroll takes a hit.

Really you should be doing the opposite - you should double down when the bankroll decreases and capture a larger share for yourself, then withdraw after it goes backup. Variance tends to swing both ways, but it should go up in the long-run.

So when's the refund starting?

Most of investors are already refunded. Few left. Contact us at info@betbase.io if you're an investor.

I dont think that equality of betting odds does hold when it comes to trading crypto. Kelly is not of any use.

Hi, the ICO is officialy ended as a failure. We've collected over 5 BTC which is not enough to fund our bankroll.

The plan is to fund bankroll from our own money and refund all investments. For all investors, please send us email to info@betbase.io with Bitcoin address on which you want your investment to be received back.

The ICO page will be updated in few hours.

After we make Betbase profitable and well known, the ICO will be repeated. Until then, we'll keep our bounties information and we'll reward all participators when the ICO is repeated. Hopefuly within 10 months from now.
Cmon!!
Give a chance to the project another week..

We're not giving up on the project, we're giving up on attracting people to be part of it. For now.
Nowadays there is only one way to attract people and to give success to ICO and that is signature campaign. Everyone if have spent time on this forum can see that only those projects got success who have started a good signature campaign.

It wasn't just the lack of a signature campaign, there was almost no marketing at all lol. There were just some posts in the project development section, not even in the gambling or securities question.

OP, you guys gotta advertise, market, publicize, there's no such thing as bad publicity as long as you haven't actually done anything wrong!

5BTC? Founders should also invest in their own ICO only that should be more than 5. And in crowdfunding in general you first find investors than hope for network effect. A lot of red flags in your approach to this but gambling and blockchains does have a future for sure.

There are still few investors who haven't replied yet. Please reply within 3 days from now, then we'll ask RHavar to release funds. He will give you 1 more day to respond. After funds are released, you can still contact us to receive your money back, but it will no longer be covered by escrow.

If anyone is missing a refund, contact me ASAP

If I don't hear from anyone, I will be releasing all escrowed funds in 24 hours to betbase. So if anyone has any complaints, please raise them now, as after I release the escrow funds all my involvement will be over and I will be unable to assist in any way  Grin

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Since everyone appears to be happy with the refunds, I've going ahead and releasing the escrow funds. In preparation, I have swept it from cold storage into a hot wallet of mine. When  johny1976 confirms, I'll send the full amount (5.86725325) to the address he gave me earlier (1J5ZyDb44ZKABKzi45BGdBmAfLEk3NDEQu)
