What is the benefit of using the X11 algorithm in combination with a Zerocoin implementation? To me it sounds like "we developed the first soccer ball which is red". Like, how does X11 + Zerocoin provide any advantage over other algorithm + Zerocoin combinations?
the first x11 zerocoin, i think  60 second  block times is appealing, possibly the 5% premine which was small would be more appealing than the dev funds of Zcoin?
I doubt your answer has anything to do with my question. Other consensus algorithms allow for 60 seconds block time and a premine is irrelevant to the algorithm. What does this combination of x11 + zerocoin offer that other coins don't offer?
well judging by your reply you already know the answer? So why ask? Trolling I imagine? This is offering nothing at this point other than a ground floor opportunity to get in on something that isn't being developed anymore at this point. It's a long shot a gamble call it what you like that another dev will come along with a vision to make something out of this

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Good News  Wink
wallet back to normal again and website online now.
Dev back again this week, wait Smiley

How do you know Dev is back again this week? What if he disappears again once everyone's started investing. Would probably be better off with a new team and make this a community project.

Do you have any evidence or a source for this statement??

Cryptopia says, "Status: Maintenance New Zerocoin Protocol Exploit found. Wallet offline until a protocol fix is developed".

The super block idea is interesting. I think it encourages miners to keep mining more. At least initially.

So if I'm understanding Zerocoin vs. Zerocash correctly KURT will only hide the addresses in a transaction, not the amount. This should be sufficient for most users. This approach seems to be a balance between functionality and privacy. I like it.

yes, but is it being worked on or has the project been abandoned?

This seems like such a promising coin. Marketcap is so low too.... seems like its been in hibernation for a while but activity seems to be happening recently though. Anyone know what's going on? This could be a huge opportunity.

Hello

I have some KURT left which I wolud like to sell on Cryptopia, but I can not deposit them because of some kind of problem.

"Unable to generate address for KURT, Reason: New Zerocoin Protocol Exploit found. Wallet offline until a protocol fix is developed."

Could someone tell me what this means and why this is happenening ? Who can solve this problem ?

Thank you

I am not technically literate enough to judge whether it is of any benefit to be the first x11 based zerocoin implementation. But I can tell you that ZCoin has one of the best developers out there and I am sure he considered his decisions well. As for the automatic dev fund from every single mined block - I don't like it either. It's a rip off over time unless it would be tied to development goals via smart contract technology or so.

It seems that the online wallet in the mining pool I use has a message - [Suspicious link removed]prised.
The otherday it looked as though it had been fixed, then it went down again. Is there someone from the kurrent community that can take a look as its been a problem for some time. Thanks.

Dear Kurrent DEV team,

please communicate that you guys are well and still alive. This is a great project and all it needs is some feedback from the DEV team once in while to send this coin to the moon an get it going in volume!!!
We believe in this coin because it has huge potential but it needs some love from the developer team so we can invest in it! Wink

I would also love to the see this project get revitalized. Either by the current Dev team (If they're still working on it?) or a new team that wants to create a great privacy coin.
