In the next 100 years, do you think Governments will create their own cryptocurrency or digital currency that will replace fiat currency, i.e. coins, paper money, the paper dollar, etc.?
If it does happen, will it be like bitcoin or will it still represent gold like how today's money works?
It could be happen government create their own cryptocurrency and bitcoin become like Gold or reserve. Its hard for government reguting bitcoin because bitcoin is decentralized cryptocurrency and i think its more reasonable for government to create their own cryptocurrency to replace fiat money it's very funny in my opinion, if the government can't regulate bitcoin because bitcoin is decentralized, then what will the government make by crypto? will they make crypto centralized? Lol. I think this is an idea that will never happen..

I think many states are thinking about how best to do it now. This is a very global topic and they shouldn't allow the entire system to collapse. Therefore, I don't think that cryptocurrency will be widespread in the near future. But it is likely that this will happen a little later.

no, just to receive crypto the government can't yet, let alone to make crypto itself. I think the crypto market will continue like this.
I think government create their information via blockchain first and then they might consider to run crypto currency. We should wait a long to see the run of crypto by government.

I think it's quite possible. Since every year people’s level of trust in banks and other state bodies decreases, and trust in cryptocurrencies on the contrary increases. Therefore, sooner or later, governments will want to create their own controlled cryptocurrency.

yes I think so, but maybe with a very large supply so the government can still control it.

Government can create their own cryptocurrency. But i think they create it not to replace fiat but to have another ways to pay or buy good using cryptos. So people can choose what they want to use to pay bill. Fiar or crypto.
I agree with your opinion, and I believe that virtual currency that created by the government and the decentralized cryptocurrencies can even coexist because it is the people who will make the choice. I believe that cryptocurrency can't easily replace fiat or a national currency because it is also created to represent a country. The government always have the final regarding the role of cryptocurrency in the future.

No, nothing serious will happen. States will create their own centralized cryptocurrency, but it will only slightly press the national money of the states and will go along with the national paper money. All types of currencies will go simultaneously. In addition, there will be other types of means of payment. However, it must be remembered that a decentralized cryptocurrency exists by itself, it cannot be tied to the economy of a particular state, and therefore can never replace the national money of the states.

I think this should happen, but it is too early to talk about it yet. Now the future of the cryptosphere is still defined precisely. The market is still going down, so it seems to me that for the time being the states are just watching what is happening. And as soon as the moment is right (if it will, of course), they will start offering to use cryptocurrency.

I think that the government with a strong economy does not need to create its own cryptocurrency, but as for the reserve, you can calculate bitcoin, but as an example, I can give Venezuela, since they had an economic crisis, the government to issue cryptocurrencies which is the solution to the problem.

I think we are out of this world in the next 100 years, so I don't care less about what's going to happen on the currency during that era. All I can say is Fiat reserves are pride of every nations, so creating a digital currency is a diversion to escape from real world crisis

No one can tell for certain the intentions of the governments of every country. In line with technology, it is clear to predict that the world will certainly go digital currency which has already began with the use of credit cards, mobile money, pay pal, cryptocurrency etc. The use of paper money will definitely fade away but the form of digital currency which will be largely utilized by the governments is not known to anyone.

I believe this will happen. The world is moving from paper reliance to paperless systems. Usually, utility bills and other periodical bills give the customers option to get their bills via email or other electronic copies. This is the case also in online purchases. They usually just give the customers a copy of the receipts and other documents via email.
It is possible that this will happen pretty soon. On the example of Venezuela, many other countries have already declared their readiness to create a national cryptocurrency. But do not you think that with the arrival of regulators in the cryptocurrency, it will immediately lose its unique value.

If faith increase then it will not drop too much for a long time. People had all time faith on bank and also will have faith on bank.

I think it is possible to that government create their own Cryptocurrency that will replace their own fiat but now it still need some more time. Government still needs some appropriate and adequate reason to make their online currency launched in their country and since we know that some cases that some currencies don't reached their success even they have a promising projects.

Government may create their cryptocurrency that might not be impossible but I do not think it is time to create their own cryptocurrency. Still it is not on that phase first of all it is required to increase more community of cryptocurrency then government might be interested to create their own cryptocurrency and for that require a lots of time. We have to wait for that.

Most likely, the cryptocurrency of various states will be similar to stable coins, since they will have to be supported by them. These will actually be digital copies of national paper money. A significant impact of such centralized cryptocurrency on paper money will not occur. They will always exist together and will have a positive influence on each other.

In 100 years yes maybe will happen, and i think most of governments will create own crypto and will make with unlimited supply so when they need to place more money on market will happen and i think that crypto issued by governments will not be like this crypto today.

Many transactions today that uses fiat is already in digital and this is widely used particularly in all wealthy countries. If these government find a valid reason to create their own cryptocurrencies in the future, then they will make it. And if they do, the governments will likely create a cryptocurrency that is similar to their national currencies like cryptodollar, cryptoyen or cryptoeuro and these are all going to be centralized like their fiats.
