I'm holding some BCN that I've mined. Back then when I was mining I didn't want to sell them... hell now they are at a very low price and i won't get nada for them. Do you think we can see the price go back up???

Most people in this thread follow BTE.  BCN is a different coin that used the same name, Bytecoin, as this coin.

Hey Doc!

Can't wait to try out HardTurtleCoin(HTC)

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

If a later coin with a much higher capitalization is using or wants to use the same name then the original coin can become very valuable.

The relvance of this coin given what is currently happening with Bitcoin may turn out to be a lot more than just historical interest or trademark disputes.

ProfMac,
You are bytecoins Satoshi! Release your coin to the world without fear of reject. The superior logic algo behind HTC is far superior than BTC and BTE combined. I can't wait to read your white paper ProfMac.

I wonder why you are telling us this in the BTE thread.

I try to be respectful and informed.

Can I buy 10 coins from anyone?

If I could compile on a Mac - yes Smiley - I might have to spin up an ubuntu box and see if I can get my old wallet working again.

Just a bit busy at the moment.

I still have all the old website files if anyone wants to reinstate that side of it. It's probably a bit dated now but would give BTE a web presence again.

I think ahmedbodi is a great asset to the coin and I'll contribute anyway I can. It'd be awesome to get BTE working, not because I have a stash, I don't. But because it could be an awesome alt.

Interesting. You are parroting an earlier post by user bamita131. Are you actually Ahmed Bodi or one of his associates?

In other words, BTE bytecoin is fine, well, alive and growing. Just focus your good energy on something Pro Bytecoin like a better USD/BTE exchange or an open free market that only accepts BTE as payments or maybe a Pool or something. Smiley Smiley Smiley

What is it with this parroting of posts under different usernames? Are you the Ahmed Bodi cheering section?

Guys, we are 200 blocks away from difficulty adjustment. Let's point our miners now before the "Locust" come and eat up our coins.

If you are really interested in seeing BTE mined, why not set up a node and post the IP so miners can connect?

Post an address.  I'll sell for $100 / BTE.  Others may make a better offer.
