Hey guys,

Delay with the bentcrypto was because user lost access to the email on which he sent the withdrawal confirmation letter. So we waited few days just to exclude any security issues. Then we confirmed the WD for the user which was sent to the ICO, so we had to refund it later. Not the regular support request we get. However, because we get 50-70 emails daily since ICO it's hard to reply in a timely manner. That's our issue, we will do our best to minimize the answer time.

Regarding that BitGold or whatever it is. I simply have no time for it. So if users want to get that "shitcoin" they can withdraw and re-deposit later. We were able to pay everyone BCC with very nice profit (which doesn't change my stance on that scam coin as well), but with this scam - we pass.

It does not get any clearer than that, if you want to get your bitcoin gold you will need to withdraw your coins from the BitDice website, and wait for the fork to happen and then after you get your coins you can deposit your money once again, this should clear any confusion from members of the forum that were asking about this in the previous days.

Thanks, Alex.

I think exactly same was said also fro BCC. Smiley

But I really dont understand what people have problems. Just withdraw your BTC to your wallet. People do that massively from exchanges and that is reason what alts stay so low

I think if someone has their BTC in a service like a Casino then there is absolutely no excuse not to withdraw for a day and keep in your private wallet.

Now if someone is like 65 years old and barely knows how to use a computer and can only keep their BTC on coinbase, then yes I understand they might have issues withdrawing their BTC and then sending it back to the exchange.

With BitcoinGold, I think only exchanges should be liable for any bitcoin forks. However there should be a marketcap min. BitcoinGold with that huge premine might be dead on arrival.

Thanks for the explanation, Alex. I'm sure a lot of people should appreciate the fact that almost every support request happens because of something unusual and outside the norm of normal transactions. This was certainly a very unique and difficult request. Everyone should understand not just the context of support but the context of an operation that has always placed its customers first.

Good call on Bitcoin Gold. Coins are people's responsibility. Not yours or any other service. Users should take appropriate measures to educate themselves and do what they feel is necessary.

Thanks Alex for the clarification about bitcoingold, actually this one is not worth investing so I guess putting your money in alts is better than this one. But guys now that everything is back to normal and altcoins are healthy again, you can deposit your investment and resume your business as usual.

All those who were complaining about bitdice is suddenly quiet, It really amazes me, why people can't be patient, I really like that despite it not being necessary Alex took his time and gave a detailed response. Also I like his stand that bitcoin gold should be avoided but for those fools, he's yet giving them a chance, I am really surprised people are opting for that shit coin, Alex has summed it up perfectly avoid that coin.

We can all agree that BitDice is a gambling website not a cryptocurrency exchanger so having your bitcoins there doesn't guarantee that you are going to have bitcoin gold and even the value is tanking after the fork. It's doowed to follow the same trend as Bitcoin Cash as well any alt coins that emerges after future forks.

Yes I also agree on alex decision to not support bitcoin gold or whatever further fork we will have. Bitcoin gold on other hand is premined and GPU mineable so it can't hold same charm as bitcoin for sure.

Most of the cryptocurrency exchanger also haven't credited their users with bitcoin gold, best way to get any forked coin is to store them in paper wallet or electrum like wallet.

If BTC merchants, services, gambling sites and the rest keep giving their users the forked coins, this only encourages the scammers to keep forking Bitcoin.

It has to stop somewhere and Alex made the right decision to pass.  Putting myself in his shoes, I think it would be a waste of time.

Only exchanges those support btg fork will credit the user with btg(if one held at the time of snapshot), i know bittrex and binance will credit btg. it's best to just withdraw your btc to a wallet with full control, if you want the forked coins.

Everyone that control private keys of the wallet where are BTC can claim any forked coin. Only if they want to. And at any time in future. You can wait 10 years and do it then if you want.

Does that mean the exchanger got a BTG from the fork and will not give it to their customers?
Only exchanges those support btg fork will credit the user with btg(if one held at the time of snapshot), i know bittrex and binance will credit btg. it's best to just withdraw your btc to a wallet with full control, if you want the forked coins.

Even XAPO online wallet also credited BTG to my account already but they are not allowing now to withdraw or exchange because they think that still BTG network not safe to send or receive. I had only some coins in XAPO but most of the bitcoins I store in my desktop wallets so easy to access BTG when a stable wallet is ready.

Well, if anyone's wondering about Bitcoin Gold, they've already run into all sorts of problems. Coinbase first said they weren't transparent, saying that they will premine the coin before releasing full options to other miners. If you go on their blog now also it's unclear whether or not they've completed all the work they promised to do, such as replay protection and the completion of equihash.

Exchanges seem to have traded already, some on futures and some actual BTG, but the price just keeps on declining. All sorts of allegations happening now, seems wise for BitDice to have just stayed away from this.

Bitcoin gold is a mess, even if I would like the community to stay united I do not mind if there are some forks, however at least the bitcoin cash fork had everything put together, there was replay protection and everything was running in the date they said it will, bitcoin gold in the other hand at first said it had replay protection and then they were giving a bounty to anyone that could do it for them, that is unprofessional and now we know there is going to be a premine and that makes that coin even less attractive in eyes of the majority.

First they were gonna go with some ICO but that quickly got rejected and then they decided to do the premine but later they halved it and make it time-locked.

However with the late deadlines and lack of coding and time is running out. Its launch is going to be a cluster of a headache most likely and won't be as smooth as the ETH hard fork or as the Bitcoin Cash hard fork.

That's good, we need to change the mindset of the people and let them understand that this new technology which is called blockchain ensures fairness to its gamblers. Bitdice is already one of the trusted gambling sites in the crypto world but joining to promote transparency and fairness will make people stay here more.

I am yet surprised that we're yet discussing about Bitcoins gold, it's was the best decision by Alex to not get involved in that shit coin and stay away from it, he has saved a lot of users a lot of money. Plus if you want free btc2x you can shift your coins to coinbase.com they are giving but if you loose your bitcoins in the process you can't blame them.

Hey guys,

BitDice has joined Crypto Gambling Foundation.

The Crypto Gaming Foundation is going to be setting a standard for transparency and fairness in our gaming community. Online casinos are amongst the least trusted businesses in the world with only 34% of people believing that online gambling is fair and can be trusted.

Regards,
Alex.
That's good, we need to change the mindset of the people and let them understand that this new technology which is called blockchain ensures fairness to its gamblers. Bitdice is already one of the trusted gambling sites in the crypto world but joining to promote transparency and fairness will make people stay here more.
Correct and while BitDice is one of the casinos with the best reputation, there are always going to be people that doubt it no matter how irrational their beliefs or how many evidence you show about the fairness of the casino, look at my trust page, a person negged me just because I’m wearing the BitDice signature, probably that person lost money he could not afford and thought he could get back at the casino by negging me.

However I like the idea of BitDice joining Crypto Gaming Foundation since we need to make efforts to clear the image of casinos among gamblers.
