Not enough time for bitcoin to reach 1000$ but 800 could be possible at christmas eve. Maybe next year we will see 1000$ ,and its my first time to see it.

$800 is possible in a few days time.
Hoping for that and can't wait for that to happen.
Though, it can just possibly reach 800$ it is still a big sum of money, you cannot just pick that amount anywhere so let us be thankful and congrats for those who has bitcoin in their wallet.

everyone would expect the price of bitcoin will attain the following positions. but we can not confirm the price of bitcoin on Christmas. because at Christmas will be a lot of people who sell bitcoin. they do it to earn money holiday. it is a very reasonable thing.

Well, there will surely be people who will sell the coins on that day, many of them will certainly sell to buy gifts for others, but there are people who can also buy Bitcoin as a gift to other people, or for themselves, which by the way seems to be a good gift, and a good way to prepare for hard times.

Based on the current markets, very unlikely and to be honest I do not wish that fast acceleration at this point. I hope to see the price climbing up slowly slowly as long as possible. When the growth starts to accelerate, we know what is going to happen.
why would choose the slower grow of the price of bitcoin if the only way of getting more income was to hope for faster grow of bitcoin . remember that if the price of bitcoin could grow so fast. its a huge help for the people that doing trading and commonly people that getting a income through market. we're investing in bitcoin because we believed that bitcoin could grow more than the price right now so if the price of bitcoin could raise too quickly its a good advantage for us because we dont need to wait a lot of time just to get a profit on our investment.
Some people may prefer a slower price increase since that is probably a sign of bitcoin gaining adoption instead of the big price swings caused most likely by speculation, besides if the price of bitcoin rises slowly then we have more time to buy it at cheaper prices.

Will we find this gift under our tree?
I wouldn't consider it a gift. That would mean the bubble is about to burst again, as in 2013. What we need now is a steady rise, based on the fundamentals and new money coming in. Slow and steady.
$1k is still a distant story, definitely not this Christmas.

No, I don't think this happen this Christmas. It is clear that $800 is an important barrier, although I have no doubt that this price will be broken soon and we will end the year around $850.

That barrier has been broken and I will bet on it rising past this mark by the up coming new year because it has no slow down in it's price increase from what I have been seeing lately.
I have watched what I have bought in the last week grow and not faulter so I am happy with this outcome so far.

It looks like we'll have to forget the bitcoin price $1,000 by Christmas. It seems to have to wait for the year 2017. Let it be priced under $1,000, so we have the opportunity to buy before actually reaching $1,000.

No more hopes that the price will able to kick to $1,000. But let's have another hope when the year of 2017 enters.

For sure a lot of things will happen for that year and a lot of good things will surely applied in bitcoin if we are going to keep on supporting and using it.

The price now rose to $801.9 as per preev. Good indication that the first week of January will be a blast.

I think it's not possible anymore, We're only 3 days away before Christmas Eve... The price only touched down $800 hours ago, and probably is not yet stable there.... It's $200 dollar before it could reach $1000 in 3 days that's not possible anymore except if there is a pump... It is possible in the New Year, just like last year...

Nothing serious happened last year after Christmas. Not sure what you are referring to as I am right now looking at the Charts but not see anything of importance. The only thing that seems to be somewhat worthy of mentioning, is the dump that started somewhere in mid January that got the price to go down from around $440 to below $360 in a very short time. I am not sure what the exact reason was, but it was a very decent price to enter the market for sure.

there are few threads around last christmas about price drop.

of google "bitcoin christmas drop". Not big drop like yours but I guess enough that people started asking.

What if it will be happening like $100 per day because around 10% growth per day is highly possible for bitcoin as per 2013 records. I am still having hope that bitcoin may reach $1000 price levels by Christmas. In the worst case we can expect it to happen by the new year.

I don't know if it's a gift or not, but I think it will happen. Unfortunately or fortunately it has many possibilities to be near there. But it's something that I don't want to happen  Cry
