I thought that it just showed all addresses in an HD wallet. Does it make mistakes sometimes?
As far as I know, you can't see if addresses came from a HD wallet. The addresses come from the private key, and it's the private key that is created in the HD wallet.
I'm no expert, so I'd like to be corrected if I'm wrong on this.

Correct. You can't derive a list of all addresses from a HD wallet unless you have the seed/master private key.

Hey Lauda, why didn't you make this thread self-moderated? We could have avoided all of the drama  Wink.

Hahahahahahahahaha I'm sorry I just had to say that hahahahaha. I crack myself up Smiley.

and what is your point? so i used the wrong wording? i was very honest here? i said that my account was chr_sty and i lost or DEFAULTED it? either way admitted before you said any of that but my posts are being deleted not sure why? to make it look as if i'm being dishonest? cause i am not. and as you said i have no control of that account so not sure what i am even defending here? obviously i am not using two accounts?

So are you so honest to repay the loan you took from me?

PS: let's not hijack this thread, we can continue in PM or on my lending thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1448684.msg14650403#msg14650403

Could you find exact TXs linking them together? Shouldn't be too hard considering the number of transactions. I've added them to OP.

Accounts connected: Farma, OrangeII, Dr.Osh, hawkins, Mr.grin, CyberKuro
Looks like a severe signature campaign abuser. The literacy on those accounts seems similar.

I've tagged them. Obviously I'm not DT1/2 but it's a start.

Edit: He had been cheating giveaways so I hope someone DT1/2 feels that it's untrustworthy and tags him too.

I think I've missed a couple of posts, are we talking about these types of wallets https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/4bd7a02ff825365c/addresses not being proof enough of connections?

I just wasn't sure if the wallets were accurate. So if I make an HD wallet and use this website it should show all of the addresses, right? A normal wallet (non-HD wallet) would just show 1 address. So a paper wallet for example. Have you seen false-positives from these wallet addresses?

No. Read my previous post:

Correct. You can't derive a list of all addresses from a HD wallet unless you have the seed/master private key.
The only problem with that website is that it can create a false positive (e.g. wallets from a singular service). One should either be careful with wallets that show hundreds/thousands of addresses, or find the exact transaction link between a group of addresses (which takes some time and analysis).

I stated a few posts back that I will not accept a link to that page as proof for connections between addresses. Id like to be able to verify the information. Linking to walletexplorer makes it easy for the accuser and tedious for the verifier. I prefer the SHA-2 way, difficult to find, easy to verify. Others on DT might see this differently, its just my personal view.

acronym used in message boards, meaning "Fixed it for ya". Most often used in quoting another posters work and slightly changing it.

Poster 1 "I really enjoyed 'Brokeback Mountain!'"

Poster 2: "<Poster_1>I really enjoy gay sex with cowboys!</Poster_1> FIFY!

So obviously the Alt calling itself quickseller has modified one of the posts above, (but that's not to say they don't like gay sex with cowboys...)

I just got a PM craZyLovE0916 asking for a loan. Username seems really familiar to someone else (can't remember the name), but they asked for loans with useless collateral and had RedPaint™. No solid proof, but I'm guessing there is a high chance.

Supposedly, the Cloverdale account was sold and no longer owned by stiffbud.
