Need help to find the alt of this user: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=842024

Have reported the scam here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1478882.msg14907229#msg14907229

As mentioned in the above thread, I've already filed a police complaint but have got no feedback from the person. I'll be sending a notice too to Citrus and hence need help to find this person's alt on the forum as I am sure that I am not his first target.

ALWAYS tag them all by yourself too, dont wait for DT. You wont let them go around without people knowing what is going on
I've tagged nial51 too that you missed.
DT will do their job soon
~GUn

EDIT: may i ask you why you waited 8 months to report this, leaving them able to scam eventually other people on forum? I meant, the police knocked at your door and you start to look around after 8 months? Also locked the scam accusation thread....?

I suggest keeping scam accusation threads open in general. Someone might want to add something in the future.

@erikalui I am afraid I cant, I dont see Timelord2067 showing any connection between akash8871 and HatakeKakashi. The address you paid to is also not connected to any other address. Unless Timelord can update the post with a verifable connection a rating to akash8871 is all I can do.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

I searched for

Code:
akash

and found HatakeKakashi was someone I'd previously encountered.

I also searched
Code:
cenation0786
and dropped the 0786 and found nicenationl u=879403

I did not let them scam but I asked Quickseller if he could give me any information and he did help me but couldn't find his alt. I opened a scam accusation thread and locked the thread as people started making me look bad and I was really in a bad mood then as I had filed a complaint too. I felt he is a newbie and I was really dumb to not know INR (Indian rupees) are reversible. I did not know how to find his alts and was not even sure if he had any here.

Police did not knock my door but they infact told me to be careful next time  Undecided I am trying to remain updated with the cyber cell and will be sending Citrus a notice (I know it's too late but before a year, I can send them a notice).

The reason I asked here after such a long time as you all are actively searching for alts which was not happening back then.

@shorena: I opened the scam accusation thread again. Thanks!

Looks good to me, although the wording 'signed' struck me as a bit odd on first sight. I couldn't figure out what you were trying to state, until I had looked at the blockchain. Hopefully there is no shady behavior between the accounts.

There isn't much to update at this time, so I'll probable add it in a day or two. Ping me in case that I've missed something.

While it probably might be true, it isn't conclusive enough proof to be listed as alts.
What we need are linked bitcoin addresses, shared social media accounts, etc.

Yeah, but they have  never posted them, they are newbies and just post a few posts. BTW, there are tons of group accounts like this, BCT forum has every kind of people, lol.

I'll be sending a notice too to Citrus and hence need help to find this person's alt on the forum as I am sure that I am not his first target.

top of the page there is a (Legendary) e1ghtSpace u=256837 one of the four is called     eightspaceaids u=941930

then there's (Legendary) georgem u=144737 and both Georgem Washington u=941972 Kim Georgem Un u=941969 all three of which have

Code:
georgem

in their names while (If I'm reading it correctly) poachrhinomonkeys u=941935 is the fourth in the series of posts vouching. Could be coincidence, but there's six whole pages of posts that use "monkey" as a word in their posts...

I predict Georgem W. Bush u=941990 will make an appearance in the not too distant future - given they registered the same day.

There's also      rhinomonkey u=542199 who posts in the thread:  http://archive.is/3nWfX#selection-5361.0-5413.32

lol and i suddenly own more than 30 % of whole nethash Cheesy

That's really decentralized!  Undecided

This whole zcash thing definitely sapped our miners away. I don't even know if mining SPR at these prices is very profitable - is it?

With current difficulty, easily.

At a guess they are all alts of each-other self vouching a so-called shit coin...  Roll Eyes (This is me rolling my eyes @_@ )

15 Accounts Connected: (so far)

SpreadCoin, georgem, e1ghtSpace, spreadspreadcoin, Mr. Spread, Spreadcointalk, Spreadcoin_, Mr_Spread, rhinomonkey, spreadcoiner, eightspaceaids, poachrhinomonkeys, Kim Georgem Un, Georgem W. Bush, Georgem Washington,

The keys to the connections are the four who registered on the 13th of January, 2017:

Georgem Washington Activity: 3 Kim Georgem Un Activity: 2 eightspaceaids Activity: 2 poachrhinomonkeys Activity: 2 and zero activity Georgem W. Bush

on the same page are

  • e1ghtSpace u=256837 and eightspaceaids u=941930
  • georgem u=144737 and Georgem Washington u=941972 and Kim Georgem Un u=941969
  • poachrhinomonkeys u=941935 while rhinomonkey u=542199 posts previously
  • The coin has multiple alts for it's namesake SpreadCoin
  • there are "two" Devs with the same name Mr. Spread u=360096 and Mr_Spread u=461477

Given that SpreadCoin u=123090 is registered months ahead of the other UID's listed including the Devs, I can only assume this is another pump and dump TM ShitCoin TM

Proof:

I should have read georgem 's trust wall, seems this isn't the first time they've self vouched their shit coin.

Hippie Tech 0: -0 / +0   2015-02-12   0.00000000   Reference   georgem is an alt of MyFarm aka. Spreadcoin_.

Don't be surprised if they are all Mr Spread's socks.

Reference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=715435.msg10417032#msg10417032

Spreadcoin_ u=433065 is an alt of georgem for self vouching.

So a little bit of digging and we have:

Code:
Offline SpreadCoin Brand new 2013-05-27 0
Offline spreadspreadcoin Brand new 2014-04-19 0
Offline Spreadcointalk Brand new 2015-01-13 0
Offline Spreadcoin_ Newbie 2015-02-05 22
Offline spreadcoiner SpreadcoinTalk is better than here ;) Newbie 2016-01-10 13

Then there's a Mr. Spread u=360096 the actual Dev of the coin, who was (allegedly) banned for six months, although that's a little unclear...

...it's also unclear why Hippie Tech thinks georgem is an alt of MyFarm a search turns up:

Offline    NotMyFarm                      Full Member    2015-10-31    209

These dates don't correspond with any other alts listed, so I can't count them in at the moment... (and their trust walls yield nothing either).

Miscellaneous:

e1ghtSpace vouches for Mr_Spread u=461477 (activity just two) - who's signature is: Don't mind the registration date, it's a glitch.

Quote
e1ghtSpace 0: -0 / +0   2015-02-27   0.00000000      Totally is the legit developer of Spreadcoin. Don't trust anyone else. Wink
