What is better? To gamble or to invest?

Investing to me is like gambling. You have to make a choice and stick with it.
Isn't that the exact same thing as gambling on something?

Nope they are different from each other. Gamble is taking chance to win money , while invest is to process your money to earn a profit.  See the difference gamble = winning , invest = earning, they have both risk but the degree of risk is different.  For investment risk can be factored out by proper planning and strategy while in gambling it is the dominant factor.

This is correct on investment you could really play smart out of it if you do have plans and learn up the correct ways and methods on how to maximize your profitability on it but we all know its not easy it does require good knowledge and experience unlike on gambling risk is really higher but you can able to make money in a fast way the same on losing it too. Investing would be the best choice for me,no questions asked here

Even after responding to issues like this before, both have the similarity and that is the risk involved in which if its in the case of investing in a reputable site then the risk of losing money is considerable low compared to gambling compared to investing in ponzi scheme in that case, its worse than gambling because the risk of losing the money is 100% and its definitely not coming back.

We all know that it is always better to have risk calculated and create methods to negate this risk.  And that is present in an investment.  You have the chance to calculate the risk and create a strategy to nullify it.  Unlike gambling, you will never know what will happen next.  So investment is always better than gambling your way around.

There are so many things wrong with what you just said I don't even know where to begin. Gambling is not for making profit it is not an investment. Gambling is an activity we do for entertainment with the chance of possibly winning big as a bonus.

The "investment" websites you are talking about are HYIPs they are backed by nothing. I could be telling you right now I have an "oil company" and put some nonesense address and contact details. Does that mean I am running an investment ? No. That is a scam.

Here is a good thing to remmeber. A real investment does not promise you returns. They can however give yu the most probable estimate based on the history of the investment. Anyone that promises "x" amount of return is lying to you. But you see people don't want to be told the truth they seem to prefer the lies and the promises of wealth, real investments take time. Unless you invest in an upcoming business that goes viral. Then by all means you can make 10x 20x your money back. But that is not a garantee because it might not happen. I would rather invest in an upcoming business then roll a dice and call that an "investment" if you not willing to risk money you will never make money.

I always prefer to invest, but I also think gambling can be a good option provided that you have a good strategy to gamble, because it is well known that there are professional gamblers that have been able to build solid strategies that have lead them to make a living from gambling. If you don't have a strategy, it would be better to look for conservative investments to grow your coins.

Those doubling schemes are 100% scam, and they will soon or later run with your money. So don't waste your money and time to find better such sites to invest your hard earned money. Instead, you can just keep your coins over the time you will make some decent profit if bitcoin prices go up.

For me it depends on when do you want to earn? Because if you will say you want to earn a lot everyday or every week then i will chose gambling, The risk to lose is faster than investment but if you are lucky enough and you have a lot of bankroll then you can win a lot in a single day or you can lose a lot in a single day. Both has got risks, but depending upon one's need as well experience can move forward. User who is not much close to gambling could try with investment. Because with investment the risk is to find the trusted investment site, but with gambling luck and strategy plays partially. investing in the house is also gambling because you are still taking unnecessary risks and there is always a huge risk of a whale winning large amounts. the other day i was reading this topic here about a whale who lost 216BTC and he didn't even mind saying "i am still in profit". so imagine him winning where you invest!
