What is better? To gamble or to invest?

If that is his understanding then he doesn't know the real definition of investment. That act of putting your money in ponzi is called gambling, that gives you bigger risk with good reward but the probability of success is very low as they will just go scam when they accumulated a good amount already.
Sure we can find different investment opportunity but let us make sure we will not get tempted and get fooled by investments with a too good to be true return.

As quoted rather than HYIP and other Ponzi schemes or investments there are lot of legitimate investment possibilit. The difference is that legitimate investment gives a stable and decreased earning than HYIP and Ponzi's. This is why most users go behind Ponzi's and losses their hard earnings and then realizes.

Yeah, there are a lot of legitimate investment places that would really benefit you. I haven't tried anything yet and I have no experience whatsoever in that. I just know that you should take care of your money also in order not to be scammed. Research is required and good foresight.

If you happen to be the luckiest person, you might end up having the best time of your life. Winning a jackpot can be possible, the chances of you making it home with that jackpot money is significantly small, so if you're really lucky it would be the best. You are totally wrong. If you have a good vision and a smart brain, you can easily determine which investment is good for our capital and you can easily earn money with it. Gambling is a risky investment and so if you manage to take away the "risky" from "risky investment" through analysis, research,luck etc. you can make gambling a good investment without necessarily investing your money anywhere else.

it is very strange to read some of the replies in this topic, when they keep repeating some keywords such as luck and risk. as if some of them have never made an investment versus made a bet in their life before.

Ok I agree to your point that really nowaday there are so many ponzi sites which claim to double but we all know they will end up scamming us but do you think these casinos are also save because I have seen many sites which started getting loses they took there investors money and never returned them. The best thing is let your money stay in the wallet.

Investing our money in online casino has the better chance to gain some profit at the long term. But don't forget to find a very trustworthy casino to put your money in and always follow the development of the casino. Deceived is the only reason why I am afraid to invest in an online casino.

I would love to choose investing to. I don't want to lose all my profit with gambling since I know that I can go crazy if I'll let my gambling spirit go on with me. But I will not just focus on a single investment there are some investments like trading. I will go also for some offline investments and I would love divest my money.

The more you diversify your funds then more you will reduce losses in the longer run. Yes, you also should consider putting your money in different asset classes instead just only in casino bankrolls. I too invested in gold, real estate, bitcoins, shares, etc., I gamble only for fun and never consider it as an investment.

Isn't investing also gambling so I don't see the difference.  When I cash out from Bovada I usually leave my bankroll in bitcoin, which is a bit risky.  After Xmas I cashed out a few thousand when the BTC price was $1,100.  Then it dropped to $800 so I lost a bunch when I cashed out.  Wish I'd waited a few more months now and I would have made a profit.

If you want less risk, Invest. Investment is less risk but small profit. If you want to earn bigger, Gamble. The risk is higher than investment, but the profit is bigger. The other is, as the name suggests, investment, or a way to grow your money. Gambling should not be treated solely as a way to grow your money, it is supposed to be a form of entertainment, and if you want to grow your money gambling will almost never be a better option than investing.

Gamble and investing are the same you take risk in that two.  Many investment site now like hyip are almost closed and no one can long term investment after a week or a month they are closed.  Also in gamble its too risky you can lose all your money in gambling.

I agree, you can’t compare investment to gambling because these tow have a different base, but if you are talking about risks they both have their own risks, but gambling have a lot far more risks then investing because it is all based on luck, investing is not risky if you know the right place to put your money.
