Instructions for installing the Insane Coin wallet on your Raspberry PI
Open a terminal and run the following commands to install the wallet dependencies:
sudo apt-get install qt5-default qt5-qmake qtbase5-dev-tools qttools5-dev-tools
sudo apt-get install build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev
sudo apt-get install libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev
sudo apt-get install libssl-dev libdb++-devOnce that is done, close the terminal, open your web browser, and download the tar file from this link:
Open the file manager and go to the downloads folder. You should see the tar folder there.
Extract the contents of the tar file. There should be four files; the desktop wallet, and the three blockchain files.
Cut and paste the wallet icon to the desktop. Once there, double click on the icon to start the wallet.
A box should pop up with three choices. Choose Execute.
The first time you open the wallet you may get an error. This is common on many wallets. If this happens, just
restart the wallet and continue with these instructions.
Once the wallet is finished loading, it should begin to sync. Let this continue for a minute
or two and then shut it down again.
Go back into the file manager and you should now see a folder marked .insane. Click on that
folder and erase everything except the wallet.dat file and the insane.conf file.
Go back to the downloads file and cut and paste the other three files into the .insane folder.
Once that is done, restart the wallet. It should scan the new files for a bit and then finish syncing where those
files left off. Once the wallet fully syncs, you are good to go.
