Will the number of INSANE for a masternode be changed?

50000 is a lot for an altcoin with only 18 million supply ..

It makes 340 masternodes active on the network at the most ..

The number of INSANEs for a masternode must be adapted to the available supply.

It is a shame because I like the project but this problem is a problem for me, for decentralization and for the governance you want to implement.

Just my opinion!

Good question for the insane team.  50k is a large amount especially if the remaining 4 million insanes don't get swapped to INSN in time.  Also, when INSN hit's $1 or higher, 50k+ USD will be a lot of money for many. 

It was mentioned in the past that if the price of INSN goes up insanely high then masternode requirements would be reduced. Of course the Team has to come to a consensus on this and we will be back with a candid reply on this at some point in the near future. I am sure Bittzy can clarify on this when He pops back online. Have an insanely good weekend.

But for me it is not just a question of price.

It is a question of decentralization and governance.

The number of INSANE must be proportional to the total number of INSANE available.

If there can be only 350 masternode, then this is a real problem.

For a network to be decentralized it must have between 3000 and 6000 masternode online.

That is sn interesting point there. I got some cheaper INSANE just now off of Cryptopia Exchange and have one smaller buy order in left which I hope will get executed. It is possible the master node collateral amount could be changed in the future, we don't really have plans to change it right now.

INSN is going to be so much more than simply just a Master Node coin.

Check out the front page of the OP and check to see what is coming: INSANE SPACES. We are all awaiting more information on this and we must be patient. I have a good feeling though it will be big and my poor Wife has been trading all morning since 8 am to make some profit to buy more INSN and her eyes are red. That is how INSANE people get about INSANECOIN at the moment.

Yes, the 30 million hard cap would be reached in about 10 years under the new payment amount.
