I've been using BTC for a long time. I have been using it at exchanges on the internet or to trade altcoins and to order goods online, but I've never exchanged BTC with anyone in front of me. At a market or between friends, or family. Roll Eyes
well, i also never did, but i have friends who always do that. I never did face to face, but I've done it in one island. it's really fun doing bitcoin delivery to someone you know, and also love crypto.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

No I never did such transaction because face to face transaction is very risky one, most of time I used to exchange them through local exchanges. So that they can directly deposit in my bank account without any delays.

I am more likely to use bitcoin to make payments on the exchange using the available websites. And for the moment I have never redeemed bitcoin face to face because I am too busy and maybe I am too lazy to get out of the house

Bitcoin is a crypto currency, so exchanges 99,9% are happening anonimously and online, I think there is no need of face to face exchanging after all.

That was a great experience dude! Atually that's one of my dreams with btc - to use it in my actual daily transactions. Honestly, I feel a little bit jealous to you because you are now able to apply the the concept of cryptocurrency in real-life situations while me, I can't still find a store/establishment that accepts btc here in my province Sad. I'm really trying hard to find one, everytime I buy something I ask first the vendor if he receives btc but I'm always ending like a weirdo in their eyes because they don't have any idea on what I am talking about.

I've made face to face exchange of bitcoin, and it didn't took place with a trader. My face to face exchange of bitcoin happened with a friend of mine who has got plans to make an investment into bitcoin. Rather than finding a trader and selling him, I got it sold to my friend itself.

Of course I never ever try to do that or experience because exchange bitcoin in face to face is to hassle to do and also you can exchange bitcoin using internet with fast and safety transactions easily than to face to face you cant assure that safety of your bitcoin.

That's not common activity to exchange bitcoin face to face, but for my own experience I was buying personally the crypto coins from a friend. Bitcoin buying though a person doesn't come to my mind, because most transaction can be done wallet to wallet.
I do likewise. Never have I thought that taking exchange btc face to face is a good idea in such a big risky environment.  As we all know bitcoin characterizes its anonymity, and almost all people get hooked on this feature, thus taking transaction by online is rather a good way in btc’s market. What more, it’s not really that most of people are aware of bitcoin, you might get no trustworthiness before making  transaction with a strangers as well.

I've been using BTC for a while. I've been using it at exchanges, to trade altcoins and to order goods over the Internet, but I've never exchanged BTC with someone in front of me. At a store or between friends, or family. This despite having had long conversations about BTC with various kinds of people, and attending a few meetups.

Who has exchanged BTC F2F?

In my own opinion, selling a huge amount of cryptocurrency is very dangerous if you did not know about the person you are having transaction with, the best thing to do is just use a reliable exchanger in order to have a safer deal.

yes, I often do that with people I know but most of the things I do to do btc exchange of course I do through a social networking group that has a crypto community. I think it can be done anytime in any way, face to face and most important is the agreement and trust each other so that no one will feel the loss.

That's right, if you are not familiar with the person that you are dealing with and you are going to sell or exchange a huge amount of btc, that can endangered your life, something bad can happen as the person you are dealing with knew that you own huge amount, but its also a good risk so instead of being scammed over the internet you also have enough time to deposit your money from the bank, also better to have the deal in front of your bank so before both of you finish the deal you already deposit the money.

Until now I have never done bitcoin exchange directly on other people or in stores that accept payments using bitcoin. that's because the country I live in has not been able to formalize the existence of bitcoin so it's hard to do bitcoin transactions directly to others

Actually that didn't occur to me like what for? If I can easily and hassle free transaction through local and international exchange sites. Besides, I always have a full load of works so I don't have time to do meet ups for bitcoin. Considering that the price is still the same but of course I can do meet ups if someone will buy at much more higher price than in exchange sites. Grin

Selling your coin in the market is the safest way to do because selling it on the real world is very dangerous because anyone can take advantage and you may end up having a bullet in your head by having transaction into stranger.

The best thing would be when you go with your laptop or smartphone to meet someone you want to have a deal, send bitcoin from your wallet to his/her wallet and this person runs as fast as possible Cheesy
If I see something like this, I'll die laughing.
Btw why to deal face to face when you can do this automatically, more comfortable and more quickly from your home without any problems?

names in this way will be exercised the possibility of using Bitcoin as a means of payment. Imagine that you are buying a cup of coffee in a cafe or something else in the store using Bitcoin.

It is actually you are exchanging your bitcoin on exchanges conveniently without any hurdle that is why you are happy with your process of exchanging your bitcoin with fiat and have not talked to anyone for changing it face to face. When you will face any hurdle doing it on exchanges then you will start to ask from your community around you for the exchange then you will find many of them and will experience that process.
