I think the safest place on earth when nuclear war was started is in non civilized area or in the community of few people where theres peace. We all know that technology and science makes that neclears now youre safe where science and technology is just an theory.

I do not believe that in the case of a global nuclear conflict will be possible anywhere on earth to hide from its consequences. That it was not necessary now to destroy the economies of all countries that threaten to use nuclear weapons.

Yeah, it is truly impossible. Having a nuclear war will just end up our planet and our human race. No one wants that to happen even the terrorist. Having that so called nuclear war is not going to happen or else all living things on earth will suffer. Even those animals deep under the sea will takecan effect of this event.

I think the main merit of nuclear weapons that it serves as a system of checks against the aggression of a large number of States. In fact, the third world war has already started and she turned into a real massacre because of nuclear weapons.

Even though I believe it is difficult anybody to survive after the blast the best place to live temporary is in a nuclear shelter inside a mountain. After that, there are no many places in Earth except some small countries like as Tuvalu, Malta, Iceland but because many believe that WWIII will start in Northern hemisphere countries like Argentina and Chile as well due to located in the southern hemisphere and air clearing up relatively faster. I would strike off Tuvalu from the list. It is a group of small low-lying coral islands. The nuclear warfare will result in the melting of the polar ice-caps, and Tuvalu will be submerged under 50 meters of water.

I'm thinking about the moon, good weather, no nukes and no humans -for now-.. Mars is just too far for it to be practical Seriously speaking, I guess it would be Australia, Africa and the islands in the middle of the ocean/s as far as they are not close to US or South America. Of course in Private nuclear bunkers in these locations, You might get toasted from the after-effects of radiation if you go out, The sun would be blocked by nuclear dust etc... so it might not be a very good investment (trying to stop it from happening would be better).

We should know what will be effect on it, once it launch, what will be the after effects on our mother earth. We cannot know predict or we are not going to see the after effects on it, but after a 50 to 10 years, we will going to experience of the effects of nuclear power. All nuclear powers will be massive and can be a big blast on earth.

The radio-active isotopes produced were much different than those produced by a nuclear bomb attack. The Chernobyl radiation was more wide-spread, but less lethal.

The exercise, under the code name "Snowball", involved an aerial detonation of a 40 kt RDS-4 nuclear bomb. An army of 45,000 soldiers marched through the area around the epicenter soon after the nuclear blast. The exercise was conducted on September 14, 1954, at 9:33 a.m

Because who sane would test nuclear weapon freely , and even on his own soldiers ? That sound a bit ridiculous dont you think . And dont mention number of 45000 soldiers , that is insane .... even for Soviets . I realy think that is just fake , for soldiers at least . Maybe they tested bomb tho XD ... I know that when the Russian tried to put out fire in gas wells to undermine the nuclear charge. It was in the village. Population said no. Died a lot of people, but we are not talking about thousands.

No one died or suffered from radiation sickness, as everyone were provided with personal protective equipment and individual radiation dosimeters. However a major nuclear accident occurred in 1957, known as the Kyshtym disaster. Some 100+ people died in this incident.

Keep it that way!

If nuclear war broke out, i think there will be no safest place on earth. Because, nuclear bombs which are used in nuclear war are very dangerous. It's impact is also very dangerous. Hiroshima and Nagasaki are the most important example of nuclear war.

Iceland. A great place for someone to hide I must say that from what i saw on this picture it would not be only great place for someone to hide there, but it would be great place to live there. So beautiful... The way grass grow around house, and not to mention background and view of those mountains... To live there i think it is priceless...

In desert is the best and safest place on earth that you will make your home once there are nuclear war happen on this earth maybe this will destroy all cities and neighborhood besides no one will know when this happen lol but hoping that it will not happen at all i want want our mother earth will destroy.
I don't think that even the most remote desert will be safe in case of a nuclear war. Remember the Chernobyl disaster? Children in Sweden and Norway, living many thousands of kilometers away from the reactor got cancer as a result of fallout from radioactive Cesium. Where do you live build an under ground shelter like what moscow did? Is there safe? I realize on your statement that there's no country are now safe but if war happens lets accept the fact that people will died for nothing people will killed without mercy.

I think nuclear war would never occur.even if it occurs the no people would be able to survive it as the radiation would be great.all the food, water supply would be destroyed and there will be acute crisis of the supply demands and the after that people will fight among themselves and the fittest of the fit would survive the situation.
