Not every time besides it depends on the popularity of the token or a coin, Main net itself seems to common news nowadays as i observe with those altcoins but not all of them has a good price movement. Moreover surprise announcements that pop ups on the web makes more excitement that leads to a big pump, All i can say Qtum is a solid one and i see a possible more great things and news incoming.

I think the subject line on the ANN needs to be updated otherwise people will think that it is a new project and mainnet is just released. Something important like the ZEUX payment partnership, or the bitcoin/ethereum combo relationship
