This new Unita looks impressive but the question is what the outreach program is like at Qtum because it will only be good if people are using it. Hopefully we will see some news of business partnerships following this amazing announcement. 10k TPS is a great achievement, much better than ethereum

Unita is the new name for QtumX, the Enterprise version of Qtum, and uses Proof of Authority to verify transactions, meaning just a tiny number of nodes process those transactions. That's why it's hitting 10K TPS. Qtum is only about 3 times faster than Ethereum, so nothing to get too excited about. This is my last post to this message board because I've had enough of clicking 1001 images on Google's captcha, which is used to create A.I software that is used by the U.S. military to drone civilians.

Does Brett still manage the Bitcointalk account of Qtum? Cause if he still, I admire him how this community manager still manages to post in the ANN thread even they have their own forum.
Unlike other projects that they just totally abandoned their ANN thread after collecting a huge amount of money.

There's a number of people who post as this account on Bitcointalk, Brett included. This was the first Western platform used to announce Qtum back in December 2016 and we're happily still here, even 2 years after our crowdsale.
In other news, if you look back a few posts you'll see we sponsored a Hackathon at Draper University.
We'll post more details later on Medium, but here are some pictures we posted on Twitter a few hours ago: https://twitter.com/QtumOfficial/status/1119679407763808256

This is a very good project. I remember how 2 years ago I took part in the bounty campaign of QTUM. Then the project seemed to me suitable. And 2 years of successful development of the project prove it. Good luck to you guys

Thanks for taking part in the signature campaign, that has been closed for over 2 years now. If you're interested, there's a different kind of campaign for people running Qtum nodes:
https://fullnodes.qtum.org/edit - we might make a thread in the bounty section, but this isn't an event where everyone gets paid to do certain work. There's a chance you will get nothing at all.

Did you know Stephen Xu? Did he was in your team? He created a project (DREP) and said that worked on QTUM. They were scammed private investors, pre-sale investors and ICO investors and broken all the rules. While people waited for 1 year their tokens, now they are making IEO and changed all term and rules and people must wait another 6+ month, while team has changed politics and unlocked own tokens immediately. And IEO price in 2x cheaper than private price. Early investors just was scammed. WHy this bad man left QTUM? You fire him?

We can confirm Stephen worked for Qtum as a developer, but we will not discuss the details of his departure. The Qtum Foundation and Team have no association with DREP, past or present.

The project is really very very good !!! and the team competently and responsibly approaches the work and implementation of the plans. Only one thing confuses me I bought a lot of qtum for $ 20 and right now and $ 3 is not worth it, why so cheap? of the project it's a shame to see the cost of ethereum and the cost of qtum ....

Cold Wallets and Safe Send By Jackson Belove
https://blog.qtum.org/cold-wallets-and-safe-send-f1541ec1a58Using a Qtum cold wallet with Safe Send or using the Qtum Explorer to send raw transactions provides advanced security options for QTUM transactions.
An offline cold wallet provides a high level of security similar to a hardware wallet; both isolate private keys offline and provide a way to approve and sign transactions without exposure to the internet. A cold wallet is “air-gapped” from the internet while a “hot wallet” is connected to the internet and the Qtum network, either directly through a full node (Qtum Core wallet) or a light wallet connecting through an API to a server node. Because hot wallets are online, they have a higher risk profile due to potential exposure to malware, hackers, etc.Qtum TransactionsA basic Qtum transaction is built in three steps:
1. Compose the base transaction: from address, to address, amount, fee.
2. Sign the transaction using a private key.
3. Transmit the signed transaction to the network.
The Qtum web wallet “Safe Send” isolates these steps between two computers/wallets, where step two is performed with an offline wallet. “Safe Send” guides through these three steps to make a very safe transaction using the offline wallet. The full step-by-step procedure is given in the wallet documentation and this blog will give an overview of the steps and describe how and why they work. Offline WalletWe start by making the offline wallet (explained in the manual, also see below for a Chromebook idea) and then use the offline wallet to create a new Qtum address. The wallet picks a new random private key and creates a new Qtum address from this private key. Copy the Qtum address to an online wallet (a USB thumb drive works fine) and send some QTUM to this address.
You can send to an offline wallet because QTUM “coins” are stored as transactions on the blockchain. For example, if the Qtum address is “Qmycoldwalletaddress” we can send transactions to that address and the amount sent will be permanently written into the blockchain. Transactions never send coins for storage in a wallet, which would never work because the wallet is offline and can’t receive transactions or even see the blockchain. Paper wallets work the same way (paper is always offline).
Now we can use the three steps for a Safe Send.
1. Compose the base transaction with the online wallet.
On the online wallet Safe Send page fill in the transaction details: from address, to address, amount and fee: The online wallet will compose a simple text file with this data:A critical piece of data the online wallet provides is the transaction ID for the “From” address for a transaction which holds enough unspent QTUM. Since the online wallet can read the blockchain it can search out one (or more) previous transactions (sent to the “From” address). Copy this “raw” transaction file to the offline computer.
2. On the offline wallet, we use the “Safe Send” function for step 2 which is signing the transaction. This is where the cryptocurrency magic happens: because the offline wallet holds the private key for the “From” address, it can create a hash to validate the transaction.
The signed transaction is a long hexadecimal character string, which gives all the details for the transaction, including the script operation codes to verify and execute the transaction.
3. To finish the Safe Send, copy the signed transmission file back to the online wallet and send the signed transaction to the Qtum network.
The block reward winning node for the next block will execute the script for the transaction, and if everything checks out, will publish the transaction in that next block, completing the transaction. A good offline computer is a Chromebook. These have the Chrome browser installed, so you just have to copy over the Web Wallet HTML file. A Chromebook is a less expensive way to have a dedicated offline computer:
Explorer — Send Raw TransactionAnother option for completing the Safe Send transaction is to use the Explorer for step 3 to send the signed raw transaction. Copy the signed raw transaction file to the online computer. On the Explorer qtum.info select MISC — SEND RAW TRANSACTION. Copy and paste the raw transaction hex string into the field, press the Submit button, and you will see a confirmation with the transaction ID and transaction details.References1.
