Why Qtum is the Real Evolution of Bitcoin

Some Qtum Updates:

#1 Our mainnet went online September 13th, 2017. This brings us to 9 years of uptime without any interruptions.

#2 https://qtum.ai Is now serving open weight models natively from our facility. We're now offering Qwen 3.8 27b at $0.02 / 1m input and $0.24 / 1m output. Full 16bit precision and 262k context with vision enabled. Our compute got hammered a few hours after announcing this, but we have a lot of resources.

#3 We're at the final stage of rolling out $USDC on Qtum. The developers are deploying the mainnet validators and sorting out the multisig. This deployment is really nice because it's not some hacked together bridge, it's a Circle.com provided set of smart contracts that controls the minting and burning of USDC between Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains like Qtum.

We should probably archive and replace the OP on this thread. Hard to believe this thread is 10 years old now.

We will be doing a paid security review of Qtum Core, doing the entire blockchain audit. After this is complete, and if we pass, we'll resume work on Qtum privacy features.
