what do I do if I don't know what wallet.dat is or where to store my stuff before I download it on my live cd or how to even install that/understand any of this at all? I just want to protect my 1.5 BTC so when all the dust clears, I may be set for the rest of my life.

I could find the ubando sp check and bitcoin.org and my father has a nice computer with discs, can I put them on a disk, I haven't any usb I can learn fast, it's just all this talk is over my knowledge and I'd be afraid to screw it up and lose what I have. I don't have a job and no $ to buy any more since the gov took my tax return over some foodstamps that they say they made a mistake on.

I really don't expect an answer because I need an actual step by step by step, shit

If I do figure this out, can I use tor so in case somebody checks everywhere I went they wouldn't be able to prove I still had any at all. That I spent it or lost it or just play dum, which isn't hard~~lol. I have my stuff at blockchain

I just use blockchain.info as my wallet and have a 21 digit password.
I also use Rapport which is used by some UK banks and building society's.
