For the same job, the salary varies according to the skills and proficiency. Even among the male workers, the salary can vary by a great degree. This is not basic Economics. First, many workplaces do not want to take women as they have children and they get sick. Secondly when we are talking about the hourly wages of those jobs which are traditionally women are considered to be lower paid.
