Do you own 1 Bitcoin?

Lol how can I get my profit?  It not that I don't believe in bitcoin, but how can I enjoy my profit if I forbid myself in selling my bitcoin and book a profit from them?  And it seems that it will take another decades before I see bitcoin being used directly in my neighborhood.

i don't want to hold forever, i will sell it if i see the price is in a range $1500, otherwise i will wait for more and i am fine with that and i can collect more satoshi in my wallet. i think i can make profit for now but i want more profit so i will hold it again.

i am not yet make 1 bitcoin but i am sure i can make it in this year and i really hope that i can make it in middle of this year.

I very much doubt that. Just by holding whatever amount of coins you won't gain anything if the price goes up. It also goes up for when the price goes down, you won't lose anything. You only gain or lose when you sell your coins. Regardless of the price, 1 BTC is and will always be 1 BTC. That's something a lot people don't seem to understand/realize.

I'm close enough to owning one BTC that I would say that it's basically like owning a whole one.

It's nice, knowing that I own one, since I get to watch the market tumble around and see people make and lose money over the courses of short bursts of time, and something like this is pretty cool to watch overall.

Yep, but I've spent quite a bit more over the last 3 years (and at a lower value). But that actually makes you appreciate bitcoin more when you purchase the same stuff you had 2 years ago, and thanks to deflation market value it costs 60% less BTC, what other currency is doing that??

I never hold bitcoin ever since I started, after all, I almost get one but because I spent a lot for myself as I bought some important things for my studies and for myself and I'm just earning on it and, I never bought Bitcoin, so It's too hard to hold a whole bitcoin.

The reason why most of you don't have 1 btc is because it's too complicated, Coinbase is under IRS discovery legal proceeding so all you who purchased bitcoins there will have your tax audited, btc has become too expensive, and it's way too speculative, you can lose your shirts overnight.

Interesting point you make there but why would you be audited for buying something ? That is not profit. I agree with you on the speculation. Maybe some people dont want to go in as deep as 1btc I guess but I think thst is slowly changing I dont entirely agree with you about losing your shirts overnight. If you patient and dont panic and sell then you wait because the value will just keep going up with spikes inbetween. I know I can be wrong but I am very certain of this and the history of the price proves it.

The minimum a trader on Paxful can have to be able to trade is 1BTC ... so I have always had atleast 1BTC. It's nice seeing the price rise, but this shit is unpredictable.

Reading this thread makes me feel like people involved in this are really young, or really not as business savvy as they make it seem.

Sadly no! I wish I was able to stock up on bitcoins when it was 2015. I could have doubled my money by now and even tripled it because at the time the price was just a little over $300. Now the prices are just so sky high that I can't even get close to one bitcoin! I am realizing how hard it is not to get one and keep it. I usually earn some and just spend it. I hope this year I get one or two.

Hold it forever is also not good if you are already holding it for a long timer, I would right now sell it because this price is just so profitable it has right now.

If you don't currently own 1 BTC, I say make that your goal for 2017.
Remember, most of the world still has no idea what Bitcoin is. Even paying the current price, a few years from now you may still be considered an "early adopter".
All we need is one big website like Amazon to start accepting payments in Bitcoin and a price of $900 will seem like a distant past.

Yeah definitely. I finally got my first Bitcoin at the end of the last year. A couple of my friends gave me 0.2 Bitcoin and that, added with the amount I already had, added up to 1 Bitcoin. So happy.

Right now, I don't own 1BTC. But only I saved 0.6BTC, Because most of I gained it goes to all of my expenses every week, such as; food which are prime commodties of mine daily, billings, and other expenses. But it's my goal this year to own it or more.

Same is with my bitcoin. I was unable to save due to the expenses of mine. Right now I have only around 0.1 btc gained from signature campaign after losing small amount in gambling. Have given a pause due to the increase, else might have lost the remaining 0.1 bitcoin too.

Yes I own some whole bitcoins In my wallets but  I save it for more than 6 months .  Im hoping that this year 2017 I can get more and more bitcoin in a month only.
