I am holding more than one Bitcoin, and I am not planning to get rid of them soon. As for the people who have less than one BTC I guess that it is not easy for them to reach this amount because they are selling their coins to get fiat money, especially now with the big price increase.

If I'd be more patience and save up my Bitcoin instead of spending them when the price was low, I could have more than 1 BTC now. Well, I spent most of them when the price was around 200 USD mainly for my domains business (which I'd never make profit from) and buying things online like mouse and phone case.
TLDR; no because I spent mine.

I don't have 1 btc, you know why? because I am new here and yet, I don't have enough money to buy bitcoins. I will do the same as others did on how to earn bitcoins in faucets or focusing here in forum to get high ranks and do the quality posts.

Nope. Currently, I have less than 1. Sometimes, I have more. Although the most I've had at the same time was about 10BTC. Sigh. It's all circulating as I don't have a set amount held in storage. I've never really held bitcoin that's specifically for storage and can't be touched. But, maybe I'll start this year.About time anyway.

Unlike some people think, it is still too early to invest in Bitcoin, the currency still has a long way to go before gaining space in the major sectors of the economy. Moreover, Bitcoin is scarcer than most people imagine, and this will certainly make the currency gain more traction in the market.

First of all, never sell all your coins at once as you will surely regret it. Second, make sure you sell at the time the price has gone up considerably, and not when the price is going down. If you made some decent profits, then cash out a small portion right now. If the price happens to go down, you'll be able to buy back at lower prices. If the price continues to go up, you'll benefit as well since you have coins enough coins left. Never make yourself come into a situation where you regret your actions.

I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO. In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?
Happy holidays!
edit: grammar
Last year i was just starting to use Bitcoin, When i start i bought a 1 whole Bitcoin so i own 1 BTC. That is the first and last time i bought Bitcoin, today All bitcoin that i have came from my hard work from signature campaign , Bounty , investing ICO and some from my gambling addiction. So i can say now that i own more than 1 BTC this coming 2017. 2016 was good to me and i hope it will continue until the start and end of 2017. Advance merry xmas and happy new year everyone.

Yes, I still own some bitcoins since that last poll and I will always have some bitcoins on some paper wallet. Why? because Bitcoin can break out at any moment. We only need 1 killer application for it to go wild and I might even go from not being a millionaire to being a millionaire in one week. My first goal will be to eliminate all debt, before I go all in on Bitcoin, so I have been buying small amounts of bitcoins with spare cash, when the price was low.
I re-coop my investment and then wait for the price to double and then I use that to pay off my debt. ^smile^

I don't think that there ever will be a moment that you'll jump from being a person with a normal size of wealth, to being a millionaire in just one week. Everything that happens will take time to be reflected in the price. Don't count too much on just one thing that will make you a millionaire. Bitcoin does have plenty of potential, but that doesn't mean we'll ever see a price in the 2-3 thoudands. But I seriously hope Bitcoin will help you in getting rid of the debt that you have. OP - I am currently hodling tight on 10BTC as I have taken enough time to accumulate them far below the current prices. After having sold 2BTC I will now hodl my other 10BTC till we break through the current all time high.

I'm unfortunately down to my last 60 BTC.
Very unfortunate, because I was an early guy who held 20,000+ once upon a time, but sold them all way too early. Whoops, no $millions for me.
What?!? Is this for real? 20k BTC... wow! Yep, bought for between $1 and $5 each. Such a different world back then. Don't worry, I definitely made some money out of it over the years, but more like rent and food money, not riches. I miss those days. Around that period I helped my friend double about $2,000 through a short term investment in Bitcoin. I forgot the exact number of coins involved but it was somewhere between 250-300 coins bought and sold on Mt. Gox. Today instead of being happy that I helped her turn $2K to $4K, she keeps reminding me what a bad decision it was to sell too early for only a 100% profit. To keep OT, I still have more that 1 bitcoin and have always had more that 1 bitcoin since 2010.

It is good to see that the majority of voters owns more than 1 btc now. I guess the people that stuck around this year have had plenty of time to build their portfolio by fragments at a time.
I have been building my holdings slowly of the past years and I'm quite happy with the result. No instant riches, but atleast I'm not going to be the one that got left out if it takes off even further.

Pretty sure the answers would be more than a btc.Considering the amount of signature campaigns ran here last year and the amount of participants paid, everyone participating would have made a btc. edit: grammar

Haha one thing I miss is the lack of competition. Back then if you launched a new site, pretty much every bitcoiner saw it and visited. Was a great time to be a merchant Now just for dice alone it seems like there are 1000's of them.

Because I have been using bitcoin on buying things that I need in my everyday life. I still have bitcoin but not 1 bitcoin, I'm converting it to fiat as soon as possible because just like what I have said, I need it. But for now, since the bitcoin's price is keeping on increasing, I'm saving my bitcoin and waiting for its price to reach its peak and that will be the time that I will convert it.
