I know that an auction would probably be the best way to get the most out of it. But there is a risk, that I do not want to take.
EU buyers are no problem. I will just book a cheap flight and deliver it personally.
But there are only a few non EU buyers that I will accept. Even with escrow the risk is to high.

You may only get a couple of bids but at least the bids will be in the range you're happy with. Worst case scenario is that it doesn't sell and you get to keep that precious coin.

Thats the case with every escrowed sale, but i get your point.  I probably wouldnt sell this to someone who just created an account or is new.  The only way i would is payment up front.  Listen its your coin and i would stick to your conditions you are comfortable with.

Just choose an escrow and have them ship the coin for you.  Then the buyer can't pull a fast one on you.  It also protects the buyer from sellers sending empty envelopes.  That 3rd party will have will be able to keep the deal honest.

Thinking about it more, it's best if you don't tell us.  If it was a low amount than others might think it's the new price for these coins.  Hopefully more than 16.  If graded, then even more.  It's worth grading all coins even if just for the protective case.
