A website which most of you know is called purse.io, it allows people to order stuff from amazon for other users and get paid in BTC. They decided to ban my purse account for no reason, no email and no warning. When i started a live chat from another account the guy who talked to me said "Your account has been closed as it has been linked to other closed accounts with insufficient balances." Other accounts? Insufficient balance? I have done over 27 orders and had this account for 6 months and suddenly they decide i have multiple accounts and "insufficient balances" which i don't yet understand what the hell it means.
I sent him more messages wanting more explanation and he just ignored the messages (it said seen). I have also made a new dummy account just to see if hes actually online and he replied to the dummy account. I have also sent an email 2 days ago and no reply. There is an ongoing order on my account for a user supposedly paying me $300 BTC, looks like purse staff needed some money so they decided to rob a customer off.

I don't recommend anyone dealing with them.

Another user with the same issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/PurseIO/comments/5jonzr/again_my_account_was_disabled_for_no_valid_reason/

Another account checking if Eduardo  is actually online:

Also adding that i started another chat with another customer rep called "Stacey", she sent me the same exact message and when i asked for more explanation she was typing (the 3 dots rolling animation) and then cancelled what shes typing and ignored me for 5 hours while she was active (last active 15 mins ago)

Update: Eduardo (the support rep) just banned the account i was using to contact him when he had no explanation or proof for my ban.
He is also this member in bitcointalk https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=66209
@mookid

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/5kqh9f/purseio_account_locked_with_balance_scam/

31/12/2016: Eduardo once again banned my 3rd account which i used to ask him about withdrawing my balance, no comments. just /ban whenever i tell him i got locked balance and uploaded order id and proof.

Seems like this situations is already gaining attention/alarm on some users of purse.io.Just want to say that its better to post screenshots on your conversation with purse.io staff so that we could really able to see it ourselves regarding on this matter.I was planning to use this service because i would like to purchase an item from amazon and luckily i have read this information and makes my mind change if this case is true. Please move this thread to Scam accusations.

Hold your horses. The word scam is thrown around very lightly here. Im sure theres a good explanation on the whole issue and there might be a glitch in their system or a group of hackers are taking advantage of the glitch. Either way, they should look into it and investigate.

So you have funds in there and they did not refund before locking your account?
Or at least any message to you on what needs to be done to retrieve those funds?

I took a look at their thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=307922.0 , they seem to be having a lot of complaints lately.
Another thread complaining : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1727934.0

It's horrible customer service, at the least.

Have you sent them support mail?(Aside from live chat) If yes, then keep doing so. If not, then try it as well.
Also, try sending them messages on their facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/PurseIO/
Who knows where you might get a proper response.

Another thing is, looks like your Reddit comment was deleted/removed. How about you try posting another one there https://www.reddit.com/r/PurseIO/ , without the scam part? You might get a better response that way and they seem to have been active there 2 days ago.(they replied to another user)

Sent them another email and reposted on reddit, i don't suppose i will get my money back when their customer service itself is corrupt.

How many other people are being scammed the way you did by the way? Until its proven that Purse is a scam then I will not believe a newbie account and their claims. It would be just as easy to say that you tried to cheat their system.

So what? Unless it is a staff of Bitcointalk thats claiming that Purse is scamming the people everywhere, I will not believe a newbie account who claims to be an exstaff of another random forum.

No offense intended, but do you commonly use multiple accounts to achieve your purpose?

Date Registered:   December 27, 2016, 01:46:53 PM <--this is you

If you have 6 months of transactions with purse.io shouldn't you have a similarily aged 6ish month old btctalk account?

Creating a new account to slander a service...regardless of who's right and wrong, doesn't lend credibility to your argument.

This doesn't strengthen your position. People often create accounts for malicious reasons...without any record here there's not much for us to base our belief on.

Also stating that your history is with a forum that spawns hackers doesn't create any trust either.

Give us a reason to trust you...we'd love to unearth another scam before it damages anyone else.

Otherwise you'll need to do this the hard way. Sorry.

For someone so honest and trustworthy as yourself...your words scream otherwise.

I wish you the best of fortune in your endeavors.

And I hope wholeheartedly that you are able to keep whatever happened to you from happening to others.

On a side note...I had to report purse.io as spam in my mail filter to keep them from sending me 3 emails a day.
