Can you make a contribution of less than 1 ETH? also whats up with the US issue is it legal for me to contribute from within the US?

Regards, Vlad Well pal I might have screwed up I withdrew .08 ETH from my Kraken account directly to the address associated with the aEternity wallet generation tool which shows my future AE but when I try to use that same address to contribute the .08 it says insufficient funds blank required received 0. I would sure appreciate any assistance man I am sorry to bug you I read the step by step still not sure where I went wrong I was certain that I had it figured out. Also if anyone reads this and can school me on where I went wrong that would be awesome clearly needing assistance. Hey, please submit your issue to "info" email at aeternity.com. The first thing that I think of is there is a hidden clause that will protect you if/when you run with all of the funds and only people in US would be able to come after you legally.
