Were currently arranging the creation of the ERC20 AE token. This requires a security audit, but that's different from the security audit, mentioned in the roadmap.

Can someone help me understand how "pre-launch" token trading works? I noticed that some markets are trading "pre-launch" AE tokens which clearly can't be AE ERC20 tokens... so it's got to be something else. Could someone please help me understand how this works? Is there a widely accepted token exchangeable for a token out there? E.g., I sell a token that can be exchanged for AE ERC20 tokens when I get them?

I think your eth is still stuck in whatever exchange you've used, or you sent your eth to another public address.  If I were you, I would check with your exchange AND give aeternity the correct public address so they can troubleshoot.
