Right, pow mining will generate additional tokens.

Everyone,

We are currently working on the auditing of the AE token and the preparation of the smart contract that will distribute it to the contributors. Due to the high number of participants, the smart-contract programming is proving a bigger challenge than expected. The task is made even more difficulat by the fact that these AE ERC20 tokens will need to be burned after mainnet launch in 2018. Nonetheless, we are making progress everyday. There is nothing to be worried about.

About the Ledger -> we have already sent out 500 Ledgers. The next batch should commence shipping by the end of this month.

I just wonder why ERC20 preparation work hasn't been done after 1st round of ICO?
They had loads of time to do that and instead of this they just played with marketing and events, but to be honest, after 1st round they would have the same result in the 2nd round without playing with that game.
It shed a light that it is not a well prepared startup.

Shortly after the AE becomes an ERC20 token, it is expected to be traded on several exchanges. Approximately in few weeks.

Marion said they are working on token contract auditing and they are not in the position to tell exact date for token distribution because of security concerns so guys be patient.

The proof that I invested in aeternity is only the BTC wallet address to which I sent BTC for investing. I don't even have the private keys of the wallet that aeternity created for me. So, does that mean that I need to keep that BTC wallet address very secure and secret, because anyone that knows that address can claim my AE tokens?

Marion said they are working on token contract auditing and they are not in the position to tell exact date for token distribution because of security concerns so guys be patient.

Yes, auditing will take some time and also they are keeping it confidential for the purpose of security. Not only for bounties even they didn't distribute for investors also. Once everything finishes they will give us an update regarding the distribution.

do you mean public key? you will almost certainly need to sign a message with the address you used for the contribution (or something else to prove ownership obviously), so no need to keep your public address secret, unless you don't want other people to at least be able to find out how much you contributed

otherwise as always with crypto, just be sure you keep your private key safe and secret

HitBTC is trading IOU - it's not AE tokens, it's derivative asset
