Greetings ęstronauts! In line with our plan to reach more people, we present you an article in Forbes. It is based on an interview with Yanislav, ęternity's founder, done in Liechtenstein where ę is based. The piece mentions the positive attitude towards cryptocurrencies on the part of Liechtenstein's monarch and regulators. They are (quite obviously) created to serve the need of two different types of users: consumers (since we used "users" just before  ) and developers. Have a look at the blog post and visit the portals. Any feedback you may have will be appreciated! You can provide feedback at any of our channels. Of course, It's really nice to hear. Aeternity has always been about improving blockchain scalability, so utilizing existing protocols to achieve those goals are a welcome development. Can't wait to experience AE when the mainnet is officially launched |

Also by the look of development speed on github and pivotal tracker, Q2 mainnet is achievable. Most probably June 2018. 2.what tx/sec rate aeternity team is planning to realize?

Hello, 1. The coin supply depends on the mining block reward which has not been set yet. The number of tokens currently in existence is: 233,020,472 AE 2. There are two kinds of TX speed in ęternity: on-chain and off-chain. Regarding on-chain, new blocks should be found in about 15 secs. Off-chain -> the speed of transactions is limited by the bandwidth between peers (connection speed). Kind regards, The AE team |

Hello once again! (such an eventful day today) We are happy to share ęternity's weekly update. The dev team managed to make significant improvements to the sync protocol and started work on state channels. Bitcoin-NG is being considered as an alternative consensus mechanism, allowing for faster block times and thus more user-friendliness. READ IN THE BLOGKind regards, The AE team |

State of Development: Week of March 5th, 2018 In parallel to sync protocol improvements, the dev team started work on ęternitys state channels. This week we have introduced our next release that is dedicated to improving and securing peer syncing protocol: A secure peer-to-peer communication will be facilitated by the Noise Protocol Framework. In addition, multiple improvements have been made to the stability and performance of the sync. In parallel, we are working on extending the instructions set of the VM and we have began to implement state channels a component allowing for the off-chain execution of smart contracts and transactions. We are also evaluating Bitcoin-NG as a possible alternative to the current consensus algorithm.
