Hotbit launched an ERC20 exchange not a Mainnet exchange. So its pretty useless. And they stated in their Telegram that they dont even know if they will support the exchange of ERC20 to Mainnet. It's pretty weird on hotbit's part if you ask me. Why would they list ERC20 token if the mainnet of the project is already launched? And then run a promo for it.

It really is, and how they sound like there will be no support of mainnet.

Any ETA for AMD miners?
Hey, Have a look at this chart. Two pools support AMD cards. Best, Vlad

It means they won't accept anymore deposit until this process will get completed. According to the time line next phase will happen in February that is really long time almost 2 months it big duration when user won't get their withdrawal.

It is good news which may encourage other exchanges to follow their path to facilitate the swap for mainnet. I hope other exchanges will join the movement and to complete this swap at next scheduled hard fork. It is in best interest of exchanges as well as project and exchanges participation can accelerate the swapping process without any doubt.

So now withdrawing AE tokens from hotbit would be the best idea if we don't wanna wait until Feb?

I also am holding on after missing the phase0 of migration. Why to hurry and block my AE tokens so so many weeks when I can use them to increase my AE tokens by trading them in vase of any reversal in market. February is far so general trend will be to wait and see before starting migration process before HF of February. If you don't want to migrate then withdrawing of your token is best way.

Hey, No. The schedule is set and any changes will cause confusion. What I personally expect to happen is for users migrate en mass just before the fork. Best, Vlad

Hey everyone, Last week the Roma team (the team responsible for supporting and updating æternity’s Roma release 1.X.X) launched release 1.1.0 featuring many improvements. In parallel, they are preparing a binary of the Windows version of the æternity node. Read the latest development update for more details. MORE MINING ENHANCEMENTSFor our next release, we will deviate from our bi-weekly release cycle scheduling release 1.2.0 for 10.1.19 (Thursday). The reason for this is quite obvious: the only thing that is worse than releasing and deploying on Friday evening is releasing and deploying between Christmas and New Year. Best regards, The AE Team

I'm a miner and interested in AE. However, I'm not easily locating alot of information.
1. Was there an ICO? 2. Was there a premine? 3. How much VRAM is needed to mine it? I don't actually know that I can mine this coin, haven't seen a statement on what hardware is needed. Only that it will run under Ubuntu currently.
Wanted to point out according to the pool stats page posted elsewhere that one single pool has over %90 of the hashrate. Don't want to call this thing a ****coin because I don't like use profanity but this mainnet launch is looking kinda rough so far.
I'm rather intrigued by the Cuckoo algorithm. The only implementation I know of is in GrinCoin and it's supposedly needing over 6 GB of VRAM. Is this using a fork or modded version of it by chance that will take less than 6 GB of VRAM? I haven't seen any GPU requirements. Is it a safe assumption it will run on a Quadro or Titan V? I have seen on Discord that Cuckoo runs horribly on AMD cards but on another project unrelated to this one.

Hey, Let me try answering your questions: 1. æternity did not do an ICO, it ran a campaign - we are currently in the second phase of migrating the AE ERC-20 token to the AE live-network token. 2. There was no pre-mining, see more here. 3. The best place to find mining (and any other kind of) information is our Forum. Find here GPU memory requirements. The Roma Release was not an easy task and there was some power concentration for a while due to a number of factors. Initially, Windows mining was not available, nor people could mine using AMD cars. However, those problems are quickly being resolved, many mining improvements are being deployed daily and our dev team is currently preparing a binary of the Windows version of the æternity node. We are persuaded that the mining power will be fairly distributed among all participating pools very soon. Let us know if you have more questions. Happy mining! The AE Team

Withdraw from AirGap wallet is now available but the only exchange that is currently supporting mainnet AE is hotbit exchange.

Withdraw from AirGap wallet is now available but the only exchange that is currently supporting mainnet AE is hotbit exchange. Gate.io also supports live net AE. Generally, I don't think AirGap is not bad at all. I have had no issues with it along with many other users. We also have a number of video guides on how to use it. It is really no different than any other wallet, but with the added security benefit of an offline signing solution. If you have your seed phrase written down, there is no way to lose coins (as in all other wallets). We are also close to getting the AE app in the Ledger wallet. Best, Vlad
