You have probably heard that after all the scandals around Facebook in 2018, the company is now looking into blockchain to provide better solutions to its users.

However, it seems like Facebook is rather using the hype around blockchain to improve its reputation and is not really ready to transform its business model.

Vlad Dramaliev is arguing that Facebook will either have to provide crypto micro-payments and reward its content creators, or it will be replaced by another social platform that does all this and more!

Thank you for the informative read. I think facebook is having some outflow of customers (mainly generation z and y), nevertheless I don't believe any competitor would be able to overtake them anytime soon. Implementing a native cryptographic token on their platform sounds like a PR stunt. Only time will tell.

Than what is the reason why you take want to withdraw when this token have limited support. If you have wallet and vault on same device than you want to make transfer to any person than take address of this person and send it.

Yes, we totally agree - it may not be anytime soon, but the beginning of the end of Facebook already started.
Plus, one of our missions at æternity is to educate people about the value of their personal data and the risks behind that data being controlled and traded by a single third party such as Facebook. We hope that more and more people will realize that with time.

What do you mean with "nothing happens" - do you see an error message?

I have no issues signing transactions with the Vault/Wallet, but I do it on two different devices. Are you running the latest versions of both (maybe just the latest version of the wallet will be enough too)?

I just checked with the Airgap developers. They have just released an update for the Vault for Androd that fixes the issue users seems to have with the translations not being displayed correctly. Once you sign a transaction, you should be forwarded to the AirGap Wallet.

You can either install it from GitHub or wait for the Play Store to feature it.

The new version is 2.0.2.

Please go to the "Settings" Tab, select your secret "Vault and Wallet interaction" and select "Always Ask" and try the transaction again. If this does not work, please go to AirGap's telegram channel and they will support you there.

What does this mean that Crex24 will delist AE coin because of swap ? Will not they facilitate swap or support new coins on mainnet ? This is strange thing happening here. By the way where can I store my new AE coins now I am interested in  wallet. I have swapped using base aepp and have all my coins there but want to see other options too.

I think it's just their fancy way of saying that they are too lazy to update their wallets.

Maybe what you say is also true that they are lazy to renew their wallets but even so we also don't know actually it is better to continue to follow the developments and information

As soon as big exchanges like Binance starts supporting the mainnet swap we can expect both price and volume surge 'coz all other exchanges usually follow whatever binance does.

Actually no - we are now in Phase 2 of token migration that will end with the second scheduled fork in May 2019.
There will be Phase 3 of the migration and, respectively - third fork in the autumn of 2019.
