Great, would you mind pumping it up again? Thanks.
If you believe what he says, I think that's the plan. He already said in an earlier post $100+ in a week, just not right now.

I am very important. It's important to me that other people engage in the shared belief that I am involved in very important things, so I can confidently say that none of this is true.

If OPs intention was to induce a crash, then the results are really disapointing. That the market might test the $50 line after the first selloff is utterly within the range of probability.

Looks like OP shorted alot of BTC.
Ding! Ding! Ding! The fish is in the net. Thanks to those who helped make this possible, you know who you are. It's funny how a group of 4 people with less than $10 mil to spare can throw the Bitcoin ecosystem around like a ragdoll

New Bitcoin wallet?
He has made some prediction and hashed it. That way it cannot be self fulfilling prophecy. When the prediction happens, he will reveal it. Or if it doesn't come true, he lets the thread die and no one remembers it after a week. Like they say, if you're going to forecast, forecast often. This is just a smarter way of covering your ass from ridicule. I will play your game: If I don't provide the info contained within 7 days, I will quit this forum for good. 1 day remaining

Calculate a hash of the text file (on unix, you can use the 'md5sum' utility). 3. Post the hash. 4. Post the text file later. 5. People can verify that the hash matches the text file by hashing it themselves. If the text file was altered after the hash was posted, the posted hash wouldn't match anymore.

It is secure enough that you won't be able to generate two messages that both are valid english and that hash to the same value. But yeah, I wouldn't use it for computer security.

If you are not techy (which I assume you are not as you asked the question) you can easily use an online MD5 calculator for this type of thing: For example I used http://md5-hash-online.waraxe.us/ and came up with: d091fccc62e2d24ab101dbe01ce844f6 It is a hash for a single 5 letter word (all lower case), can you guess?

Exactly. I would never use MD5 for something security related, but for this kind of application it is perfectly fine. There are known collision attacks against MD5, but the probability of being able to generate a message that both has the same MD5 hash as the original and still makes any sense whatsoever is about nil.
