The weird thing was he could have turned Mojo into quite a successful coin with just about the same amount of effort...

Yes, coin purse and network are functioning. But where is the further development?  This despite the fact that the price during the ICO was higher. I invested 1 bitcoin and now have .01. Don't know what happened. I didn't expect this with Mojo, EBK was so involved before. We have to expect this in crypto, you win some and you lose some. I perfectly understand that this is such a market) There would be development, then the price returned to the starting point. |

I just wanted to make it clear that MOJOv3 has been taken over by what you may call 'The Mojocoin Group' for further development. MOJOv3 has proved to be a very stable wallet and blockchain and work is going on behind the scenes. There will not be many updates yet. I guess that this will improve as soon as a proper roadmap has been worked out and a new website set up by the new group.
Me, EBK1000, is no longer working on this project as we are working on a new project. MOJOv3 is alive but as they have stated before, updates will be few and far between and progress will be slow but secure. I Noticed that people were moaning on the old Mojo Slack channel so I deleted this channel as it no longer serves any useful purpose. The new 'owners' of MOJOv3 will surely be back with updates at some point in the near future. This will be my last input on the matter as we are working on something else.

We have worked out a plan for MOJOv3 and will come with some updates very soon. MOJO is alive and well and the blockchain is stable. You can expect an updated roadmap in the next 2-3 weeks.

The swap was announced on Livecoin and here for a long time and all the coins were swapped to MOJOv3. MOJO continues to be in development and funds are being used to run MOJO and for future updates. There was a decision made to reduce the coins by 10:1 and this was announced well in advance. Whoever have followed this from the start way back in 2015 will know that MOJO has been in existence, well, since 2015 and is still being worked on. I do not believe threats are due here. If you had MOJO from the ICO and have followed the swap etc. you should not have lost out if you want to sell. During the ICO the BTC price was around $220-230 and so the value of MOJO now is actually higher than the ICO value so you can sell and leave if you desire. Also, that means that a higher amount of BTC (given that it was worth 1/10 of the current price) was used to hire contractors to build MOJOv2 w/ masternodes (a system that never worked properly) and to run the initial phase of the project. The contractor left MOJO with a faulty and buggy code and a lot of work has gone into MOJOv3 (contractors hired) which has a blockchain and network that now runs like clockwork. Wait for updates. |

Since there are all the complaints about the ICO, here are some numbers. I will have to go by the real world value of a MOJO in USD as the Bitcoin price is too volatile to use a measure.
The price in BTC for MOJO in the ICO was close to 25 Sats, 0.00000025 BTC / MOJO. The Bitcoin price at the time was around the $420,- mark so @Mojocoin is wrong.
The price in USD ($) for MOJO at the time of the ICO was about $0.000105,-
The current price in USD for MOJO is about $0.006375,- and taking into account the 10/1 reduction, the price for MOJOv2 now is $0.0006375,-
The current price for MOJO in BTC is around 0.00000253 BTC / MOJO and taking into account the 10/1 reduction, the price for MOJOv2 now is around 25 Sats, 0.00000025 BTC / MOJO
So, actually MOJO is worth more now than at the end of the ICO so if you took part in the ICO and want out you can sell at the same BTC price as the ICO or a higher USD value.
So, there is no need to moan, just sell and get out, nothing lost. I know that development for MOJOv3 will continue.

There is no scam here, we have continuously worked on this and we now have a good blockchain and wallet and we are working on the next features. Did you take part in the ICO? You can sell for a higher USD value now or the same or higher BTC price. A scam would be abandoning the project which we have never done. Making threats is not very constructive. |

The coin was created in 2016! Price ICO MOJO: 259 sat (0.00000259 BTC). At the time of the start ICO the price was 30 sats (0.00000030 BTC). But investors received the bought coins with the recalculation of the price. (259 sats). If you do proceed with development, I'll be happy.  |

It's a new code base for MOJOv3 from the one that was used for MOJOv2 and the code base is taken from Stratis code base and it is a modified Blackcoin code base. The reason this was chosen is that it is well tested and very stable and is suited to build applications around much in the same way as Stratis. So, in a way it is more useful to compare MOJOv3 with Stratis. In the end, both Stratis which was cloned from Blackcoin and Blackcoin are clones of Bitcoin with PoS. |
