Why does the moderator hate Bitbean so much? the prices are super low right now. Sprouting (staking) is a satoshi creating wildebeast. it has a rock solid past and a bright future. there are many youtube videos about it, steemit articles Its not a fly by night operation like most of these new coins people are touting on here that will disappear in a few months. The best, absolute BEST is Bitbean but my posts keep getting deleted. I thought this thread was about POS advice? There's no better advice than:buy Bitbean.

ETH would be the best choice. Even though ETH is not currently a PoS coin, it soon will be! Vitalik (the founder of Ethereum) is integrating the PoS system in ETH which means that when it's implemented, you'll be able to receive interest just by holding your stack, something which is not possible with BTC. That will take a while of course, but if you start accumulating from now on, eventually you might have a pretty good stack to get some descent returns while being a validator in the Ethereum network. It might be a bit far off but that's the best suggestion if you're looking for a long-term investment and not a quick buck.

I have seen many PoS coins decline in value over time, making your stakes less profitable than ever.

However, even though this happens, there are a very few coins that prove to become worth to hold for the long term.

Nevertheless, I would like to know which PoS would be best to invest into these days, according to market movement. I'm always on the look for good PoS coins to put my money into, and make my profits grow for the long term.

Looks like EmberCoin is finished. High ROI, a lot of coins mined. Selling pressure made price on Cryptopia going below 1 sat. Cryptopia decided to stop listing it on BTC market. Glad I sold half of my coins when the price was 9 sat (bought at 2  ), other half today, but at a dust price. anyways, made a profit and moved on. That's the lesson I didn't pay for: do not invest long term in high ROI POS coins. Just buy low before the hype, sell high before the market is flooded, move on and don't look back.

I think best pos token to buy is Minexcoin , actually they have a current rate better than mining . You can deposit 1000 mnx and get 40 mnx/week that's means 40*4 = 160 mnx/month => 480$ monthly
But be careful that update daily the current rate .

Yeah, there is quite a good risk since supply is low vs other platform. But let's see.

If that will happen it's another huge step for ethereum platform and that will a big help for everyone that hodling eth and surely the price will rise as demand rises as many will get more interest to stake eth in their wallet.

I have some pos token like usd, eur, litecoin cash and bsh that came from airdrops and been staking in my desktop but I'm not sure if I'll get a good profit to these in exchange of my electric bill.

The best thing to look for in POS coins is that the coin has a bright long term future. That is why I believe RAIN is one of the best right now, the dev will be releasing the whitepaper before the end of the year and will development real world uses for the coin. The future looks very good for this coin and right now the price is a steal under 500 sats, all time high was 3k sats. Another POS coin that I think has a long term future is XIOS, the dev is active and strong community support, TOR will be implemented soon along with other features coming in the near future. Masternodes are working perfectly and right now the price to run a XIOS masternode is under 1k USD as the price has come down a little since its peak a few weeks ago.

If you invest to PoS coin which is not like ethereum with smart contracts you just waste your money. I would suggest you to way ethereum PoS which make sense.

Ive been in Crypto just over a year and a half, 7 figure portfolio of about 10-12 alts... holding some big bags but only recently got into staking my coins on a wallet.... personally I really like SHIFT (decentralized web hosting, Dutch project)  good staking... already seen 5x returns on it... could be huge

my second pick, more speculative, doesnt have staking but will have nodes thats start at 50k XBY is Xtrabytes, its a platform out of Hungary, not to dissimilar to Antshares.... I consider it the Hungarian NEO... could be massive... but risky.

Third Pick is RISE... .I really love the Lisk blockchain.... staking is great on Lisk Rise and Shift.... Rise is already pretty big..... rumors that it will be featured in palm beach confidential... could pop 5x easily.... really like it.

I think PIVX coin seems good, but also STRAT is a nice PoS coin. However PoS might not be the best staking option right now, there are new like delegated PoS like ARK

My experience is that many of the hyper inflationary coins like IFLT, EMB and 1337 tend to go to less than 1 sat and the platforms with low staking rates (less than 10%), e.g. Ark, Lisk, Spectrecoin, Waves, etc tend to have better overall returns when you include both capital appreciation and staking income. I invested in 808 and it delivered great returns for a limited time until it fell catastrophically during the BTC Fork madness. I have my doubts that 808 will recover its previous highs due to the lack of a use case and the community seems unwilling to change the staking rate to a more sustainable level.

My current favorites in the staking world are Triangles, Crave, Deep Onion and Spectrecoin.
